      Great Experience with Logistical Problems

      Great location and experience for guests who are more flexible, i.e. under 70 years old. Under Canvas Lake Powell is extremely dog friendly. Absolutely no problems with bringing my dogs into the facilities. The logistical problems with the lack of electricity in the tents (only USB battery packs) caused us problems and lead to us leaving a day early. Also, I feed my dogs fresh food and the lack of power meant no refrigeration, and the ice maker in the reception area was on the fritz. They recommended driving to a local store to purchase ice. The deck and the stairs needed attention due to some splintering. Stargazing was wonderful but couldn't outweigh the other problems.
