    Kingsley Inn welcomes two pets of any size for an additional fee of $25 per stay. Only Rooms 201 and 204 are pet friendly. Guests with pets must call (877) 411-3436 prior to booking to verify availability of a pet-friendly room or risk not being able to check in with a pet and/or incurring any associated cancellation penalties. Both dogs and cats are allowed, but pets may not be left unattended in rooms. There is a pet relief area located in the courtyard, and two parks and the riverfront are nearby.

Kingsley Inn features whirlpool and fireplace suites, executive accommodations, and a variety of room selections to fit your business and leisure needs. We are an excellent choice for business or personal stay. Internet access and wireless points are located throughout the property. Meeting/board room for business can be reserved. A complimentary specialty breakfast is served in our elegant morning room to all guests. Alpha's on the Riverfront, an award-winning restaurant, is on the premises. The Inn has an elevator, off-street parking, and can arrange taxi from Amtrak, local airport and marina at cost. Parlor with baby grand piano is an intimate gathering place and larger groups can meet and dine in Alpha*s banquet room. Leisure room has vending, games and pool table and snack area. Window-wall on the riverfront displays an every-changing vista of contemporary life on the Mississippi River. Railroad buffs can enjoy river communications between trains, barges and the Santa Fe Bridge on scanner.

      So good we added a 2nd night

      At check-in we were given a tour of the building, during which we learned that it was built in 1843 and has walls with 3 layers of bricks. Those bricks keep the rooms totally silent. You don't have to hear others talking or flushing the toilet here! We were upgraded to the Spa suite that has a direct view of the Mississippi. After driving for 3 days the comfortable bed was a blessing. The Atlas Steakhouse located on site has amazing Wagyu steaks. Breakfast is made to order. It's a perfect location as a base to tour Nauvoo, Carthage and drive the River Roads both in Iowa and Illinois.

    Safe Stay: Kingsley Inn has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place. Hand sanitizer is provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Contactless check-in and check-out are available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks.
