The location was perfect. A bit run down, I had to plug out the fridge to sleep due to the loud fan but the room was comfortable and spacious.

We stayed here with our dog 1 night and it was fun. They had a good continental breakfast in the morning with coffee, the room and staff were nice, and the hot tub was the best part!

I knew this place would be a disaster from the get go... But I still insisted anyway. The hotel service is immaculate. They don't mind about the dogs and all of that. The perfect hotel, outside of servicing the animals with bowls or anything of that nature... I wish they did, but that's fine. The problems lie outside the hotel grounds. The park is a good 10 minute walk away. The "grassy areas" are on a side street. You'd have to look for them. Luckily, since I lived in Chicago in the past, that wasn't too difficult...
That said, the neighbors are rather strict about the neighborhood dogs out there. Some are rather judgmental if you have a big dog. Some people are nice, but it isn't the friendliest area for dog walkers. They don't take too kindly on pet relief out there, and some areas are gated off as a result. What it comes down to is --- the entitlement is beyond disgusting there. If you don't fit in with the neighborhood and smaller dogs, they don't welcome you or your animals. It's expected as it IS Lakeview and all, but it's still ridiculous.

We had a great time, the employees were very hospitable and were happy to help us with the questions that we had. Our room was on the first floor, super quick check-in, and was overall very smooth and we had a relaxing stay. Would highly recommend and will plan on staying there next time we’re in town!

Great location, peaceful neighborhood, very dog friendly staff! Would definitely recommend and stay again!! Only downfall we had to cross a busy road to find grass for my pup to potty. But I still give it 5 bones!

Nice neighborhood and room on first floor. Two sets of doors so even though hotel is not large, made progress easier with a pet. Parking is next door at a public garage FYI

Great location and a very nice neighborhood hotel in the heart of Lakeview/Boys Town. My expectations were not high for a Best Western branded hotel. I would not have looked at it if not for BringFido...But the building had tons of character, the staff was exceptional, it was very clean and quiet. And the location can’t be topped! I will definitely return.
