Nice place overall, got a deal where the 3rd night was free. Would’ve been a little overpriced if I hadn’t got that deal. Rooms are small but very nice. Location is central to a lot of attractions (river walk, restaurants). Not much green space close by for the pup to do his business but we made it work with some planters at the courthouse 2 blocks away. Also, there are extra daily amenity fees that you’ll have to pay at the hotel along with the pet fee so keep that in mind. Overall, this was a nice place to stay. As long as I can get a better deal than their standard rate then I would definitely stay again

The Allegro Royal Sonesta Hotel is a beautiful hotel located in the hustle and bustle of Chicago. The staff was very friendly and happy to give treats and toys to our dog. The downside is there isn’t any where to take a pet to the relieve themselves. We ended up using the back alley in a more urgent situation and then walking about .5 miles to the nearest dog park in non urgent trips.

The Kimpton hotels we have stayed at are definitely top notch and the Allegro was no exception. Staff is so friendly towards dogs and offered her a treat bag upon arrival. We weren’t offered a dog bed or bowls but I’m sure we could’ve requested them. Also Chicago 312 their pet friendly restaurant was awesome and has wagging weekends with a special pet menu during brunch hours! Highly recommend!

Spacious rooms considering most standard rooms in Chicago are rather small. Nice, clean hotel. Beautiful dog food and water bowls in room along with a bed. The elevators were only moderate slow. 2/3 worked in Jan 2019. We were on floor 5. Lots of dogs. Hotel will call you if there is a disturbance from leaving dog during the day in the room. You have 30 mins to return. We didn’t have any issues. I’ll post a photo of their pet policy. All staff friendly.
