It was advertised as a pet friendly hotel, but the hotel had no pet area in which to walk our dogs. We had to walk them in whatever green there was in the parking lot and drainage area. In addition, our pet room was on the THIRD floor. When we arrived, no one was working the desk but there was a note to call this number. The young man stepped out of the back immediately. When we got settled in our room, the TV remote did not work, so the same young man had to come up to fix it. He did respond quickly. Lastly, the shower fluctuated from pretty warm to tepid to cold, and the handle changed from shower to shower as far as where hot or cold were. When I mentioned it to the young woman at checkout, she literally shrugged her shoulders and said she would tell maintenance.

Room lacked smoke detector, door to room didn’t open all the way due to iron/ironing board in the way. No hot water to shower. Dog poop all over the grass. Old hotel behind Red Roof Inn housing very sketchy people. Will never stay here again. Car alarms going off during the night. Loud music late into the night.

My working dog was pleased with this location. The staff was super nice as well as other guests. The elevator that has windows facing outside was his favorite! Could use better areas for potty time.

It’s old and needs updating. Lots of people live here and it feels unsafe. The sound of the pool and waterfall is comforting though.

They were decently dog friendly but the room wasn’t incredibly clean and there was a needle in our bathroom. There were so many loud noises and sounds neither our dogs or us slept almost at all. The staff was very nice though which was the only upside.

The room is clean but having dogs on the 5th floor isn’t convenient. The grounds are filthy, really disgusting.

Door lock broken on poolside door, only certain doors had key cards, others just locked you outside. Room nice & clean, lobby & pool clean. Outside hotel totally different story. Dirty with lots of trash. Areas to take dogs potty covered in dog poop; no bags or trash cans available outside to pickup dog poop.

Heidi was professional and helpful. Room was very clean. Refrigerator, microwave and lighting all in working order. A/C worked well and easy to use. Breakfast could be improved but adequate.

Our 11-1/2 year old Chocolate Lab Chester loved this Red Roof Inn! They welcomed dogs with open arms AND with no add on pet fee! However, the king size bed for us humans sagged badly in the middle, leading each of us to employ defensive maneuvers to avoid rolling into the middle of the bed. Maybe for the first time EVER we should have allowed Chester to sleep in the bed with us, in the middle, to block our rolls!

As one of the more affordable options with no pet fee, hotel was acceptable. Rom was clean. Mattress a little uncomfortable and too much noise from aircraft made it a little difficult to sleep well. Dog liked it fine but would have liked actual relief areas instead of patches of grass and pebbles. Surroundings felt safe although crossing the big roads to restaurants like Bubba’s 33 was a little scary for him.

Stopped on our way through Kansas to New Mexico for work. The hotel was older, but the staff was friendly and the room was clean. Also included a wonderful free breakfast! Our fur babies were welcomed and comfortable overnight as well 😻

I was certainly expecting more for what I paid. My bed was broken in half, the AC did not work and I had to bring in fans to be able to sleep, the grassy area in the front of the hotel butts up right next to the extremely busy intersection on Kellogg Street and has no accessible trash cans to dispose of poop bags. The area in the back has clearly not been tended to in who knows how long. The trash can was rusted out on the bottom with a nasty old garbage bag in it full of trash, the grass was cut but my puppy still almost ate a used condom. Overall not the worst, the staff was very pleasant and nice, the location is great, but it's Wichita so you still need to be careful. Overall it wasn't the worst, but still has things one should be aware of when booking.

Only $80 a night for a clean, comfortable room. Can’t beat that. The staff was very helpful and friendly. And no pet fee!! It even has a nice size indoor pool and free breakfast. Great stay!

Second night on a 4 day from PA to AZ with 2 dogs.
It's a Red Roof Plus so it was a bit nicer than the one we stayed at in Louisville the night before.
Staff was incredibly friendly. They provided prepackaged breakfast which was a nice surprise as I have no expectations with COVID.
Room was nice size. Everything was decent and worked.
Very nice areas for the dogs to do their deal.

Room was clean, service was friendly and quick. It’s an older building but the room was very inexpensive and has no pet fee. I have a well behaved dog that weighs over 100 lbs and had no issues. Location was fine, it’s right by the interstate and close to a few good restaurants. Overall, for one night and for the low price I can’t find anything to complain about.

Facilities were fine, though the dog walking area was a bit small. Air conditioner was *really* loud. Won't judge on noise, because it was our dog's first night in a hotel, ever. We thought it was fine.

Was traveling to Louisiana from Wyoming (16hours) stopped halfway in Wichita. My mom booked a room at a different hotel and when I got there, they said she had to be with me since I wasn’t legal age. I am 20 years old. I was tired from the drive and had my dog with me and was mad. My mom called here and the lady was amazing and let me stay. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. The room was nice and clean. I recommend to everyone. Even over 21 haha.
