This is a lovely independent style hotel that is very comfortable and welcoming. The staff is fabulous and the area to walk the dog is good and safe. The room is big and the kitchenette was a bonus. I recommend it and would stay there again.

Great stop, easy in and out for our dogs, room was spacious and clean. Kitchen was a plus with a full fridge, utensils and everything needed. Will stay again.

This hotel was very clean, but very noisy. There seems to be a lot of people that are permanent residents.

Went to room and it was very dirty, floor not vacuumed, bed not made. This was 8 pm, and last employee on hand was about to leave. Owner wouldn't answer her or my phone call. Luckily the employee called another employee and they spent an hour cleaning the room. No employee was on-site from about 9 pm to 7 am both days.

We traveled with 2 big labs so requested their large king room. We were not disappointed! Very roomy and comfortable for all of us! Room was clean and very comfy. The grounds were very nice but needed to be cleaned up some more! Still a very nice place to stay!!

We were blown away at what nice accommodations we had and were able to bring our dogs on top of it! The rooms are so nice and spacious, with even a full kitchen! The continental breakfast was wonderful too! We would definitely come back! Highly recommend!

We really appreciated the staff here. They called when we were out having dinner and said one of the other guests told them our dog was barking a lot. The staff checked on her to make sure she was alright and even took her out for a little walk and turned the TV on for her so she wouldn't hear the commotion from the other guests.

If I would rate just the staff they would get 5 bones but the rooms needed a major update. Carpets were stained, walls and doors needed fresh paint job, and the furniture was frayed and had holes in them. We would gladly come again if the rooms were updated. We also reserved a king bed and got two queens. Their reply when asked stated “it’s first come first serve”

Walked into an ok room. However, the cleaning person must have been in a hurry. Found a dirty towel behind the door and a pop bottle laying beside the bed. The room smelled musky. Would not stay here again.

I stayed for about 8 days in October 2020 in a room with a king sized bed, kitchenette and full bath. Everything was clean when I arrived. Older reviews of this place say you need to pick up a physical key for your room, but I used a key-card the entire time I was there, so this must be recently updated.
Due to COVID, the continental breakfast was closed, but I was unexpectedly surprised two mornings while I was there by a large bag of breakfast treats and other snacks. It was nice to see the staff was still trying to make sure that guests had what they needed!The hotel is at the front of a shopping plaza and was having some work done on the parking lot, which was a little tricky. There is also no luggage cart, but the staff instructed me to use the laundry cart to get my belongings from my car to my room. The hotel is also pet friendly! My dog and I enjoyed the accommodations, but be warned that there are not a lot of sidewalks in the area if you need to take your pet for a stroll. We ended up doing a loop around the back-side of the shopping plaza just to get some distance in each day. Overall, I would recommend this place! I could see how some minor improvements here and there would really take this hotel up a notch or two, but I have zero complaints about anything!

We spent two nights here, a week a part. The first night was good, stayed less than 14 hrs so it was costly. Staff leave early so there is no one to check you in if you arrive late. We arrived at 830pm. Room was big and clean, and quiet. A week later, had a smaller room, which was fine. First key did not work, had to get another. Room smelled of smoke, noiser than previous stay. I'm also annoyed by the fact that you pay for amenities that do not exist. We stayed here because our dog was welcome. We stayed a 2nd time because the 1st night was good and we were comfortable.

Not many Fido options and this one in Florence is clean and adequate. A King Suite, fully equipped on ground floor facing toward a large parking lot, was dark (one window) and tightly furnished. Our third stay there showed signs of age but for one night okay. Breakfast is minimal continental. Safe well lit Fido walking.

Our first stay here but we’ll be back.
This is a great place for people with pets. There’s a lovely outdoor covered deck where we sat for a glass of wine with our pet. Even a propane bbq if you wanted to cook a meal, and the room had a kitchen and table with two chairs where we ate the dinner we brought in. Normally we eat in the breakfast area/lobby with our dog leashed beside us. This was much better. The room was very clean, spacious and quiet. Also close to I-75.

We had a short but great stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Had a kitchenette and small sitting area. Breakfast was disappointing as there was only packaged food available. We went out for breakfast. Other than that everything else was fine

Our room was cool (temperature) but incredibly humid- so much so that our sheets felt wet. The carpeting was not so great, maybe that is just part of having a “dog friendly” room?? It could’ve smelled better in the room as well. The bathroom was pretty nice compared to the rest of the room. Everything else was okay... it’s not the Hilton, but it’s also not Motel 8.
