  Could have been better

  Refrigerator did not work and we had to ask for a new tv remote. Water was always lukewarm out of the cold water faucet.

  Clean and Friendly

  Easy check in! Arrived late and just wanted to get much needed rest. Had nice hot shower for the whole family of 4. Comfortable bed, even my mini golden was knocked out on w/ us. Has vinyl flooring which was clean.

  Lovely new renovated hotel, perfect for the fur baby and his humans. Smart to have wooden and tiled floors throughout and an absolute bonus for the breakfast. Thanks for a great stay.

  Good but really basic

  We had an ok stay at this hotel. The area was a bit sketchy but we felt safe enough at the hotel. The rooms were ok nothing extraordinary about them. They felt really cold and a bit sterile. The worst part is that the shower water was tepid, not hot at all, and after a long day driving all you want is a nice hot shower...well not here. I guess for what we needed which was a simple safe night stay it was good enough. They were really great in giving us a room towards the back with easy access to the pet area. However, the pet area which would ideally be great if kept in good condition was a disappointment. Full of poop from irresponsible pet parents and worst of all broken glass. We had to be really careful with our pups and carry them to a clean enough area so that they could go to the bathroom.

  Awesome Hotel and Staff!!

  Hotel staff was great and very helpful with anything we needed. Room was very clean and had hard surface flooring which I loved! made the room feel much cleaner. Highly recommended!!

  Lights Under Louisville

  Hotel was super clean, vinyl floors a plus. Great walking area. Staff is friendly. Walking distance to a great pizza place. Would definitely recommend staying here if y’all are ever in Louisville.

  Good location, wonderful staff

  We stayed at this hotel on the 10th. We arrived late and the check in staff was very nice. The room was clean and all was good. I made the reservation on BringFido app where I marked that we had one dog no problem everything went well. This morning when I checked out the woman at the front desk was very rude. I let her know I was checking out and inquired about the $100 charge to my credit card. I said it was a transaction she said it was a hold. I then said that all my charges said the same thing. She replied very rudely that it was a hold and then stated that I had a dog.

  I said I know I made the booking on BringFido where I stayed that I marked I had a dog. She told me I booked through Expedia at which point I pulled up my email to show her that I booked through BringFido where I marked that I had a dog. She replied rudely again that was was checked out. She was very rude and stated that I lied. I didn’t appreciate this at and I assumed that the hotel was alerted that I have a dog. I never had this issue in the past.

  Decent enough

  Location was eh, but there was a very large grassy area out back for pupper with tables and benches. No poop bags but I always have my own. Room was clean, simple. They originally put me on the second floor but when I brought pup in he ran after me saying pets were only allowed on the first floor. Just changed rooms, no drama. Stayed one night because travelling through. I’d book again.

  Great exercise area

  In the rear of the hotel is a large grassy area where we were able to trowel balls for our golden. It was great for her after being cooped up in the car all day. We would stay here again if in Louisville.

  Clean, convenient, quiet

  We liked our large, clean room with vinyl faux wood floor. Behind the hotel is a large, grassy and shaded area for dog walks - a pleasant surprise in this busy, built-up area near the airport. We heard no airport noise from our first-floor room, slept well and enjoyed the complimentary coffee from the lobby.

  Not bad but unsure if we were just lucky

  They assigned me a room on the 3rd floor but a sign on the front desk said “pets only allowed on first floor.” When I asked about my pets staying they seemed surprised and said “hmm let me check if we have anything available on the first floor” which is a little troubling to hear when it’s 10pm and you’re 10 hours into a 20 hour road trip. Ultimately it worked great having the dogs on the first floor and having a decent grassy area to bring them out

  Near The Airport

  The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. The location was near the airport so when walking our dog she became frightened from the noise. Even though we were close to the airport it was quiet in our room.

  Super Clean!

  Would definitely stay here again when visiting Louisville. Hotel grounds, lobby, and room were all very clean. Parking lot is well lit. Very pet friendly.

  Cat Nap

  Despite being close to the airport, the ground level floor was quiet, clean and cozy. The two cats really approved of that. Rooms looked to be relatively newly refurbished.

  Great Place

  It was in walking distance to my event. They had a nice pet area, I do wish it had been fenced. The staff was very nice and the room was clean. We had a problem with the fridge in the room but it was fixed right away. We will be staying there next year when we go back.

  Room was great!

  The only reason I didn't give this 5 bones was that the area to walk the pups didn't appear safe. I would not have been comfortable walking them alone. There were several homeless folks hanging out there at the back of the hotel. Staff was great and room was great!

  Good stay

  Clean room. Good breakfast served by staff per COVID regs. Lots of room to walk with disposal bags and trash cans behind building. Close to airport but I didn't hear planes in room

  Very nice place to stay

  The rooms were large and could accommodate a large dog crate easily. Staff was pleasant. Dog area was nice, but needed to be mowed. There were Waste bags and a bin available and handy.

  Beautiful room except beds so high seniors could barely get on, Not so good for dogs, inside corridor long walk to grass.

  Best place for Expo Center show

  3 mins down the road from Kentucky Expo Center Gate 6 entrance. On a busy main road and also by the airport, but back far enough that it's fairly quiet and pleasant. Mini-bar area in room is very handy with high cabinets where you can put away dog food & treats. Nice enclosed grassy area behind building [please, to the culprits: pick up after yourselves, why do you think they go to the trouble of providing bag stations and bins? Always the rude few who mess up appreciated amenities for others...] and residential area side streets around the corner. Kind and friendly staff, good pizza next door and generous Mediterranean takeout portions across the street.

  Wonderful location!

  Dog friendly room was wonderful. Placed right next to the exit door, with easy access to the "dog park" area. Staff were very friendly towards both me and my doggo!

  not impressed

  We have stayed at a few La Quinta Inns with our dogs over the years and have been satisfied until this one. Front desk staff was not friendly at all. Our room was fairly clean except for a bug on the kitchen counter. We could hear and feel the springs in the bed, not comfortable. We did appreciate the nice sized grassy area for pets in the back. If we find ourselves traveling through Louisville again, I wouldn't choose this hotel.
