I usually do not post negative reviews unless service is abysmal. For this hotel, it was more the fact that this was probably a nice hotel at one point. It now has missing smoke detectors, holes in doors patched up poorly, and the room shows signs of poor cleaning and maintenance. It is a shame, because the outdoor pool looked maintained, but the rest of the hotel showed age and a lack of care and concern. And, for a dog property - the one, small, patch of grass had a no dog sign on it. Happy we were only staying here 1 night.

We booked this hotel as a last minute fix when we learned we needed to attend an out of town funeral. Contacted them to ensure we could have a late checkout so the pooch had a safe place to stay while we were at the service. Agreed to pay an additional fee for this. Confirmed again upon check in.
The room was filthy. Reeked of old smoke and mildew- tried to open windows for some air- screen missing from one and the other had been either punched or kicked and the frame was bent out. Black beetle bugs dead on the floor that had clearly not been vacuumed. BLOOD COVERED THE ENTIRE SIDE OF ONE PILLOWCASE. How does a bed get made with blood covered linens? Clearly this room was not cleaned. In the morning we went to the desk to ask that we not pay the fee for late checkout due to these issues-- staff were so incredibly rude and stated that we did not have a late checkout and that our dog could not stay. Left me in tears while explaining we were on the way to a funeral- staff held his hand in my face and said "I don't have time for this" and walked away.
Other desk staff said we could check out late- we were in a bind so left the dog but spent the next 2 hours anxious and worrying that something would happen to him while we were gone. When we returned, our room key had been deactivated. Thank God we got another key and the pup was safe.
The director of sales met us on the way out and apologized, offered a refund. She also said she saw the blood covered linens and agreed it was disgusting. Too little too late. We will NEVER stay in a Quality Inn again, no matter what the circumstance. Avoid this place like the plague. - JosephJul 24, 2021Good location
Staff helpful. Hotel is showing lots of wear. Outside good for walking dogs. Pet friendly.
