Friendly helpful and nice room

Very disappointing. Under new management and renovations started but left incomplete. No maintenance workers visible during our stay. Hair on bathroom floor was not ours! Bathroom towel bars removed and holes spackled and left unpainted but no new bars installed and no hand towels provided. Clothing rack held in place with tape and no hangers provide. No dog waste station, ice machine broken, morning coffee machine broken so no coffee with breakfast. Would never stay again.

Luckily, my mom & I both had sleep aid medications with us, because the volume from the frogs was insane! That being said, the hotel was pretty typically old, not uber clean but not super sketchy. They didn't charge us the extra dog fee, which was nice.

Clean rooms, large areas to walk dogs. Didn't see any dog cleanup stations, but I may have just missed it, I carry my own bags. Didn't see more than 1 trash can that I had to walk a bit to find.

The only problem was that I couldn't find any outdoor poop bag receptacles. I ended up leaving one green bag outside my hotel room door, as I didn't want to put it in the room's waste basket.

Our 4-day stay here was comfortable and we found the location to be good for our purposes. The room was comfortable, though it was missing any sort of closet or place to hang a coat or any hangers. It appeared that a rack of some sort had been removed, but not replaced (judging by the unpainted patches on the wall). Otherwise, the room was clean and useful. The Inn is fairly quiet and there is a lot of space for walking the dog. I recommend it.

There is green space (woods swampy) around the outside edge of the parking lot for those that love sniffing!
