Resort was very beautiful Loved the first floor room overlooking the water. Being on first floor was so convenient with the pup. Loved being able to enjoy breakfast in the open air restaurant with the pup too. Lots of places to walk and enjoy the scenery.

A wonderful hotel overlooking the water with beautiful setting and amenities. Very convenient to Bar Harbor. Treated our dog very well. A good area to walk the dog. All in all highly recommend this place.

Very good but VERY, VERY expensive at the rush of the season. Has a warm swimming pool (not for dogs) which is great when the weather is not cooperating. Bar Harbor has a great Stewman's lobster place that welcomes dogs. It was very nice to see puppies/dogs under/near each table.

this was a great dog friendly hotel! bar harbor is a very dog friendly area in general. beautiful property and great staff. there is a great area to walk your pup down by the water. 75$ fee for having a dog but it was worth it to have her with us

We decided to do a last min trip to bar harbor and checked morning of our departure for any dog friendly hotels in bar harbor. They do hit you w a $75 pet fee! But my rate was only $200 so it was worth it to be ON ocean, heated pools and great on premise restaurant and near downtown. They said dog (we have a great dane) not permitted to be around pool area and grounds, but bartenders told me as long as no one complains, we should be ok. So we walked everywhere with our pup! Hotel a but dated but with these views and rates who cares. They even give you a list of dog friendly shopping and restaurants downtown to check out. We lunched on the water with our dane at stewmans lobster pound and it was perfect! Just exactly what we were looking for.
