The rooms are great, beds comfy, sheets crisp. Breakfast is extra but a step up from the usual fair. It isn't easy to get the dogs out a back entrance. We usually try to minimize contact with other patrons, and couldn't find a way to do that easily here. That being said, everyone was nice. No garbage can by the door or in the parking lot for poop disposal.

We didn’t find the walking trails another reviewer described, but it was hot out anyway. Our dog enjoyed the air conditioning.

We brought our dog Kate here for a one night stay. The location is great, as there is a mall across the street and apartments nearby. The mall has plenty of restaurants to choose from and we ordered takeout because it was too warm for us to dine outdoors. There was plenty of outdoor space to walk Kate. The only downside was that we were on the fourth floor (top floor), so had to walk from the front entrance to the elevators to get to our room. There didn't seem to be access to the outdoors from nearby stairwells, so we had to go through entire hotel to exit out the front door. Our dog was fine with it, but it could be a problem for other dogs.

We have a great experience with 2 large dogs here. We have never visited a hotel that was so welcoming to dogs & throughly enjoyed having them stay with them. All the staff was very friendly & the best thing is they allow dogs to stay in the rooms while we left for a wedding.

This is a very nice property and a convenient location. We have normally stayed at a LQ nearby, but decided to try here because the LQ is now charging a pet fee. The price here was excellent and no pet fee! The box that was supposed to contain poop bags was empty and not refilled on the second day even though I told the staff about it, but that's a minor inconvenience. I would highly recommend the Sheraton Minneapolis West Hotel.
