  Very noisy

  Probably the proximity to the interstate plus the seemingly cheap construction or aged hotel, it was very noisy. The grassy area for the dogs was partially fenced, which was nice.

  Wonderful clean, quiet, and comfortable room! Great breakfast! Kind, helpful, and friendly staff! We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

  Great Choice with Friendly Staff

  We were put in a ground floor room near the exit doors for quick and easy dog walks. Free breakfast, friendly service, nice clean rooms all make this hotel a nice pick for the night.

  Old hotel

  They do not allow dogs over 50 pounds, depending on what staff member you speak to. The hotel is all torn up on the outside, parking lot blocked, pool is empty. Older property, rooms are clean, bed and pillows are comfortable.

  Brought my Labradoodle. Pet fee is low and reasonable but the "pet area" is just the grass around the back of pool (open field feels like its off property) and muddy. Not very convenient. Facilities were under renovation of front entrance so side door was entrance. Rooms are outdated. We were put in a room right next to the side exit door that was open/unlocked all night and people coming in/out throughout the night. You could hear everyone coming/going and walking down the hallway which was not ideal for our dog. And the hotel is right off the Interstate and we could hear all of the highway traffic. Snack/Food "store" was just very minimal. Not much sleep for any of us and we left as early as we could. Opted to find somewhere else off the highway on our road trip for breakfast. Just wanted to get out of the area! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone... with or without a pet.

  Would stay here again!

  We stayed here on our way driving from Pittsburgh to New Orleans. The staff was super friendly; the room was dated but clean. The bed was amazing and the shower pressure was better than average. Everything in our room worked well. The free breakfast was very nice with many options and unexpected at this price point. I depend heavily on reviews so I tried to cover everything I read from others. Overall I was pleased and have zero complaints.

  Great pet friendly hotel

  We enjoyed our stay at La Quinta Inn in Jackson, MS. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The shower had fantastic water pressure and the water was hot like I like it. We were given complimentary snacks (cookies, granola bar, bottled water, microwave popcorn, mints) and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pet areas were clearly marked and there was adequate space for your dogs to do their business. It is off the main freeway but far enough away where the noise would be distracting to your pet. I would stay here again and definitely recommend this hotel.

  We have large dogs and got to have both of them. Suites are perfect size for accommodating with dogs!

  Here for hurricane evacuation. Good location to amenities: groceries, restaurants, banking, gasoline. Staff friendly, accommodating.

  Great location

  The hotel was OK. A little run down, there was a huge mud hole on the side (next to the street) where I walked my dogs and stepped in the wet, muddy hole! Ugh. Room itself was ok but there weren't any towels in the room. I had to go to the desk to ask for them. At least this La Quinta had a better breakfast than the one in Chattanooga did.

  We had a great stay here with our 2 goldendoodles. The front desk was very fast and accommodating and our room was very clean.

  Was clean and comfortable. The reason for 4 stars was it was a little difficult to get to although it was off the interstate.

  Great location!

  Nice employees, good area for pets with lots of grass. Room was large but didn't feel clean. Stains on bedspread and scratch marks on the doors. Carpet needed replaced.

  Great for dog, just fair for humans

  Just a $20 fee for our 60 lb dog, convenient walking area. Hotel is a bit rundown, phone didn’t work, free Internet but could never get it to connect. Dim lighting. Clean and comfortable.

  Wouldn't stay here ever again

  Stayed here for 2 nights. The entire place smells of mildew. I was told that all the first floor rooms smell that way and was told I could spray disinfectant. We had a suite and the microwave didn't work and they told us to use the one in the common area also I had to request a blow dryer. There is nowhere to walk your pet. There was a lizard in our room and they said I could throw it in the trash. That was the final straw for me.

  This LQ is on a spit of land did not provide any appropriate pet walking area. The hotel had been “updated” but it was dirty and had a room freshener spray smell everywhere. Even the elevator was gross. No pride at this property. I declined to use the shower and skipped breakfast. Am I picky? Well —yes! Do I make sure to pick up after my dog? Absolutely. Sorry others are sooo irresponsible as it ruins it for the rest of us. Re-routed my return to avoid this location.

  Great Place To Stop Over With Pets

  We traveled with a dog and a cat - Staff were accommodating and the rooms were very spacious. The hotel has a side entrance and a nicely kept green space for walking dogs. We usually take our dog for a longer walk every morning - found a park with a pond just down the side street that make for a great morning walk from the hotel.

  Convenient to I-20 and Very Helpful Staff

  Great beds. Staff went above and beyond the expected. From the pup's point of view - if your dog is noise sensitive, the doors closing down the hallway were louder than usual and (we faced the front) there was more traffic noise (engines, back up beeps, etc.) than expected but not disruptive. There is a "pup station" and plenty of grassy areas. Nice breakfast.

  Good Stay for Us and the Pup

  Good stay for us and the pup! Check in was easy and Reece and the rest of the staff were great. Initially I was concerned that the rules for pets were different than posted on the BringFido website (dogs could not be left unattended) but we were told as long as dog was quiet there was no problem. We do not do this often but occasionally we might like to go out to dinner and leave our dog for an hour or so. They were very considerate of our needs and gave us a room near the pet walking area on the first floor. The room was very clean — the bathroom was a little small and needed a little work but overall a good stay. I would recommend this hotel.

  Clean Comfortable Contemporary

  We had a great experience here! The property, to include the room, was so fresh and clean and contemporary! The room was large and comfortable. And on top of it all, their pet fee is fair and reasonable! There’s also a nice grassy area to walk your pups. The staff greeted us and our 2 dogs with a warm welcome after a long days drive. The location right off the interstate was also very convenient. I wish there were 5 stars to rate this hotel.

  Nice Clean Place

  The room was clean, the people were friendly and the breakfast had a good variety. There was a $20 pet fee but it was cheaper than boarding. The location has plenty of space to walk your dog and many places to eat nearby.
