    Awesome hotel and service!

Wonderful grassy areas for the dogs and poop bags available! The staff there were all friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was amazing!

    Exactly what we needed

Stayed 1 night with a large breed dog. The room was big enough, and we had the entire pool all to ourselves. Will stay again.

    Disappointing for the price

I know staying in Bozeman is pricey, but was very disappointed when they know you have 2 dogs and you are booked into a 2nd floor room with no elevator. Hauling up bags, crate, misc, all while controlling 2 dogs is quite difficult. Then the room is halfway down the hall. My husband ended up making multiple trips while I stayed in the room with the dogs. Our phone in the room didn't work and they wanted to send someone up to look at it. We told them, with 2 dogs we were not comfortable with someone coming to the room. We told them we do not need the hotel phone, and that they can look at it when we check out.

    Ski trip

Hot tub was not working while we were there skiing, but everything else was good and clean.

    Clean but overpriced

The room was clean but very bare bones. Also there is a fairly loud train that passes the hotel pretty frequently. It’s also not really near anything in Bozeman. Thankful for the place to rest a bit but definitely not worth the price.

    Good location

PROS: We loved Rachel. Rachel is very friendly and helpful. She recommended drives for us and another guest suggested a couple of hikes that both were wonderful. Kaeley did a nice job on breakfast every making sure everything was stocked, restocked, and tables were cleaned. She also checked us out. She performed a lot of tasks efficiently. She is a hard worker. The pool is lovely, and it was very nice to have it to ourselves. The hotel is very clean. We saw Kaeley vacuuming in the main entrance a few times.
When we were tired, the 19th Hole Bar and Grill behind the hotel provided good food and service. Kyle did a great job about 9am changing our sheets, adding towels, TP, and vacuuming. She was extremely nice and polite. We appreciated it!

CONS: Another front desk employee was not very friendly or helpful. He acted like checking us in was an imposition. I realize that the service industry is having a hard time hiring people, yet this family-owned hotel needs to train some of their employees to be more courteous to hotel guests. We also saw him out front smoking several times. He also didn't know we had a pet upon arrival, and didn't key our room card properly. We schlepped back down to the front desk and same front desk guy rekeyed our cards. He acted like it had never happened before and it was our fault.

There are no elevators in the hotel. That was not mentioned upon booking. Our room was halfway down the hall, so it was inconvenient and the farthest room from either the main or the side entrances. While we don’t mind walking, a second-floor room is not the most convenient for bringing luggage in and out, and definitely not as convenient for taking pets in and out. We asked if they had a different room and was told no. Period. We saw other people with pets on the main floor so that was also disappointing.

After 3 nights there, we requested new towels, sheets, and vacuuming on 9/21/22. Nothing was done when we arrived back on 9/21/22. My husband asked the head housekeeper who insisted that our Do Not Disturb (DND) was on the door, so nothing was done. We left at 9:45 that morning and removed the DND from the door while one of the housekeepers was right there and went in our room, so we assumed all was okay. Apparently, she only checks once and that’s it. She should have checked a bit later instead of doing it so early. She was rude to my husband and insisted that our DND was on the door when he reiterated that we took it off at 9:45 after breakfast. She didn't offer to provide anything, so he had to ask her for new towels.

Again, a little training for being polite and respectful goes a long way. We would consider staying again if we could be assured to have a main floor pet room closer to the entrance.

    Clean and quiet

It was very clean, the breakfast was very good. No view from lower floor and no elevator to second floor. It was easy with a dog and would recommend it. Convenient location.

    Easy hotel

Great hotel that is a little bit outside of downtown. Close to a great walking trail for the dog.

    Wanted To Love It

Based on the reviews here, I had fairly high expectations. Even the high price wasn’t a deterrent.
So my comments: The room had a strong unpleasant odor which I corrected with the Lysol I always bring.
I needed the internet (Zoom meeting) and it would not connect in the room. Spoke to the gentleman at the desk and he had no solution other than a little “business “ room without AC. The carpet was stained and thread bare. I really had expected a better experience.

    Nicely Maintained

This was a great place to stop for us with both our big dogs on the route from Denver to Seattle. We love Bozeman and this hotel had a great view and close enough access to everything for our quick trip through. We have very well behaved dogs so we can’t speak to how dogs are treated there if they are loud or anything, but the hotel staff seems very vigilant and helpful. The pool was a nice perk for our kids and was in nice enough condition to feel comfortable in.

    Super chill place!

Not only fun but very accommodating, pupper friendly atmosphere. Our dog barks sometimes right when we leave him in the room but staff and neighbors were understanding and didn’t mind.

    Awesome Staff

From the check-in staff were wonderful! Super easy check in/out, and very attentive to any needs. There are quite a few papers to fill out with pets, but not a bad pet fee and the room was big enough for my pup’s bed to lay near the bed in the room.

Nice place for a one night stay. They need to invest in new towels though; they were frayed and visibly old.
