    Just ok

It's hard to write this review because in general we enjoyed our stay. The room itself was clean & quiet. Dogs are allowed on every floor not just the first which can be irritating. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. All that being said, the “dog relief” station is small and hard to get to. As well as being fake grass! The hotel is surrounded by rocks! It was very challenging when it was time for our dog to do his business.

    Great Stop

The male receptionist who checked us in was friendly and brought a box of kitchen and cooking utensils. My fathers liked their breakfast and the ability to cook in our suite with a kitchenette. It was a short drive to downtown restaurants and I enjoyed my walks in the neighborhood with my dads who appreciated the available bags to clean up after me. We were all happy.

    Great for dogs

I generally love Best Western so I’m partial to choosing to stay there. Friendly, great for dogs, no issues. However, sheets were dirty on one of our beds.

    Best Western, Kalispell, MT

Very nice clean and updated hotel. Good pet areas and only negative is hearing people, especially kids in the hallway. Breakfast was nice and staff was super nice.

    Green space was wonderful

The additional green space surrounding the hotel was a lovely surprise. The “girls” truly enjoyed it after too many days on the road.

    We made it work

I booked based on the reviews, but while this hotel is located within 30 minutes to Glacier National Park, it is also located directly next to a recycling/junk yard. It isn't in the town of Kalispell so you have to drive 5 minutes out of the industrial part of town to get to the downtown. We ended up spending most of our time in the very dog friendly area of Whitefish, about 15 minutes away, and would strongly recommend looking at dog friendly hotels there instead.

    Very good!

Like all La Quinta's, good for the price. Clean and welcoming of dogs. Only downer is the distance of grass from hotel for "relief". But very workable!
