We loved staying at the hotel. Our room was very clean and the staff friendly. The exterior needs some upgrading but then again you're not paying for a perfectly maintained property. The dog area was spacious and the pool was lovely. If I had any suggestion for the hotel it would be fence in a small area in the dog bathroom area. My boy meet a few pups that he would have loved to have been chased by. I plan on staying there again soon.

Great spot to stay with your pups (my two are large) for a mountain getaway! Had no issues with my pups. Watch out for the backroad behind the hotel though. There were some unfriendly locals that were very rude to me. I didn’t realize it was a private Road so was walking my dogs up it. They proceeded to yell and haggle me even after I turned around and was clearly leaving. Not on the note but fair warning!

We traveled with our two Poms from Fla for 3 nights. The room was clean and cozy. Geat deal for the money. my only gripe is the dog walk area should be fenced in because the closest dog park we found was Bark Park on Beech Mountain which is well worth the drive but not very practical for just outdoor play time.

Stayed over night for a wedding in Banner Elk.
Quiet, clean, great service from the staff and grass everywhere for dogs. Some of the finishings needed to be updated but otherwise an overall decent property.

They really helped by giving us a ground floor room and the pet area was just across the parking lot. We had a beautiful view also.

We had such a great stay here! The staff was super friendly and everyone stopped to pay attention and pet our pup! Our room was nice and the breakfast was the best we’ve had at a hotel. For sure the best pet friendly hotel we have stayed in!!
