Our first pet-friendly room was dirty and had a strong odor. Had to purchase Vicks vapor, outdoor area was littered and unkept. The manager & front desk staff were accommodating and responsive. Unfortunately had to depart a day early and was able to stay in our new room. There are places to walk the dog but it happens to be on a very busy street.

We booked this hotel room during a family road trip to the coast. We are unfamiliar with the area but seeing that this was an IHG Hotel, we assumed it would be an acceptable place to stop with our dog. The staff was friendly and provided us a dog friendly room free of charge. The rooms are dated like you would expect of a roadside motel. I didn’t think much of the dead roaches along the baseboards- maybe that’s the NC climate. The next day when we arrived at our destination, we discovered our dog and suitcases were infested with fleas. My advice- stay somewhere else.
