Though not a luxurious spot, it was clean and comfortable for a needed night's rest. Staff was very friendly. There was plenty of shady grassy space to exercise our dog. And no annoying pet fee!

We stayed here one night November 26th, 2022. We had a first floor room and the door is right by your parking spot which is nice. The room furnishings were good but the rooms we had (two) were dirty- hair all over the place, dusty, grimy gross feeling. No carpet, that was good. Toilet and tub are separate from sink area and toilet/tub area is WAY too small would be better to have put wall up to include sink area you could not move and door barely closes. Toilet tank lid chipped, lampshades weirdly stained, just a poorly maintained room. Dog area was fine. We thought we were not fussy on place for one night but it must be clean and it was not. Toilets also seemed to barely flush so slow and old and gross. Staff was super friendly at check in. We would not stay here again. No pet fee.

The grounds were nice and felt safe but I’m not sure what the ‘plus’ was for at this Red Roof. No coffee maker in the room, no microwave or fridge. The TV was very small and very limited on channels unless you pay $20 for on demand. The only mirror was also very small, and for those of us with glasses, the raised sink wouldn’t let me bend over it to apply makeup. I stayed at a Red Roof in Walterboro that was $25 cheaper and had all of the above amenities. The bed was very comfy though & I like that they label the pillows based on firmness. The room was clean and I really appreciate that! Staff were nice and efficient. Very convenient to get to and a few close fast food restaurants in the immediate vicinity. I will look for another hotel with in-room coffee next time.

Very rude reception & front desk manager both on arrival & departure. Clear sign on entrance “we welcome pets”, however we couldn’t enter the office with our dog (that’s not a problem, it’s the manner in which the message was delivered).
We went to our room, no bath towels (that’s ok too), so I go to the office & the rude man tells me that every room has 2. Yes, but we don’t & would like to shower. He tells me to go check again & call him. I do, no towels, no answer when I call. So my husband goes to the office, still no towels, he can’t leave the office. Finally, when I’m walking the dog, rude man calls me to come & get the towels. Different man at checkout who never got off his phone or spoke to me🤷♀️

There is an excellent Mexican Restaurant less than one mile from the hotel, and a quaint downtown village about 2 miles away. The beds were good if you upgrade to the premium room. A negative is that the bathtub did not drain properly. There was plenty of grassy area to walk my dog. This is good basic lodging with easy access at a major highway.

My 115 pound dog was welcomed for free. This is an older hotel that has been recently updated. The floors are the new vinyl hardwood, good for pets. The single king bed room also had a nice desk area, a small fridge and a microwave. Right off exit to get back on highway. Restaurants and stores next block. Perfect place to overnight with a pet while traveling.

Not clean. Not up to date. Had sticky candy stuck in the rug beside the bed and smelled terribly of smoke. Did not attempt to use the shower in the morning due to its look. Was pet friendly though. We will look elsewhere next time.

Very close to the exit and even though is next to the highway, the room was quiet. Everything was clean and to my surprise the bed didn't have the typical dark red flowery bed covers. The room was big with a king bed and white soft bed covers. The pillow covers were engraved "firm" and "soft. I think this was a nice touch! Right outside the room there is a small green area for pets and a larger area by the front with doggie bags provided. I had no complaints. We spent a night and kept on going on our trip the following morning. I will definitely stay here again.

I wasn’t expecting a luxury room, but I did expect the bathroom door to close (it didn’t), the tv remote to work (it didn’t) and the toilet to flush (it didn’t unless you took off the lid and did it manually). And no markings on the air conditioner to tell you what it was set at. Just nasty all the way around.

Expected more since we upgraded. Room was dirty. Pet hair all around, even on seat of toilet. Desk top was not cleaned. Towels were very stained. (They need to order new.) I just expected a bit more, I guess.

This hotel was in great location near Howey but not noisy. I asked for a 1st floor because I have a senior dog and they were accommodating. There is an area for dogs to eliminate, and it is most convenient to the end room furthest from the office, which we had. I like that the floor was not carpeted so I could keep it clean; the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Only 4 stars because room and furnishings were very dated although they had all amenities including a safe. I could smell smokers outside because the door was not airtight. Would stop again if in that area— price is right.

We have stayed here many times over the years for an overnight stop during a long drive. Good with our 2 dogs, and compared to most that take 2 dogs for no extra fee, it's clean! Oh, and always a friendly reception. Also like the convenience of food, gas, bank, etc. nearby.

Nice place to stop while on overnight drive. Covered picnic table area in pretty setting. We got a pizza from Little Ceasar's in plaza next door and sat here to eat. Easy to access from the highway and gas station for filling up close by.
