Mold in the shower and on the ceiling in the bathroom. Hair all over the bathroom. Cockroaches the size of small birds climbing the walls. The room never cooled off; we had the AC on 60 and it ran continuously. There was a small apparatus in the AC unit with a green light; not sure what it was but I turned it to face the wall. Avoid this place unless it’s a last resort.

Original room at check in did not have operating AC. They moved us to next room and AC worked fine. Room was on the first floor and easy access to exit door. Not a real good green area for dogs but plenty of bushes along parking area. Sheets were debatable if they were actually laundered from other dogs sleeping on bed.

Easy access off the freeway. Friendly staff. A nice variety of breakfast items. We did see a cockroach in the room in the morning and there was mildew in the shower. I would not stay here again due to roach issues. I did report the cockroach to the front desk staff; they apologized but did not seem concerned - said the place was to be sprayed next week.

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was not clean and the dog area was dirty because there was dog poop all over the area. the beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were too flat. We will never stay at a Best Western again.

We especially liked the new double shower, plus the short drive to Wrightsville Beach/Intercoastal for drinks/dinner

Everything was fine . There was less than minimal breakfast however which was disappointing.

Clean hotel, friendly and knowledgably staff. Walls are little thin and noise from other rooms herd at times. Had one issue and Adam Willey at front desk handled immediately and well. Thanks to him!

When we checked in, the front desk staff made a comment about signing paperwork acknowledging no pets. I indicated that we were supposed to be in a pet-friendly room as we had two dogs with us. She reassigned us to a pet room, but it was one with two queen beds instead of one king bed like I had reserved. We ended up finding bugs, including roaches, around the refrigerator in that first room the next day. My husband complained and they moved us to another room with a king bed. My husband wasn’t very impressed with the hotel breakfast. Try to find somewhere else to stay!
