In general our stay was great, and our small dog was welcome. Nighttime was a bit noisy outside, but this isn’t a knock on the hotel or staff - more a “remember, you’re in the middle of downtown Portland” kind of note for people.

The Woodlark is very much akin to a NYC hotel - beautifully appointed but a tad small. If your dog is on the larger side, definitely a drawback. Our pup is small, and sleeps on the bed with us. That entailed frequent paw-washing as the streets are pretty dirty. The staff was very nice, though nothing really special towards our dog. No pet fee, but the $58 resort fee was a substitute - not really sure what is resort-like…the food was average and coffee was not gratis, and ice had to be delivered. Parking is $50 a day, but they delivered the car via valet quickly. Absolutely beautiful room, great bed and pillows. overall, nice stay.
