Description

Luxor Hotel and Casino is a 30-story pyramid with two 22-story towers, a Sky Beam that is the strongest in the world and visible from outer space, and 47 acres. CatHouse offers a discrete playpen for provocative entertainment and lingerie inspired by the opulence of a 19th-century European bordello. Complementing CatHouse's upscale lounge is a sexy and sophisticated restaurant from celebrity Chef Kerry Simon. Also newly opened, the 10 000-square-foot Company American Bistro boasts a rustic feel in a chic environment. Liquidity features a bar and three separate lounge areas, as well as a cutting-edge projection system that uses water as a canvas. The hotel's casino features loads of gaming options. Live entertainment includes the adult revue Fantasy and comedian Carrot Top. Nurture, the Spa at Luxor, is available for a daily fee of 20 (waived if a treatment of 60 or more is purchased) and features a whirlpool, sauna, men's cold plunge, free juice and water, fitness center, and massage and beauty treatments. Property also charges a daily resort fee.

    Do not stay here!

Just be aware, while hotel is "dog friendly" if someone reports that your dog barked, the hotel will lock you out of your room and make you go to the front desk to be told your dog was barking (while speaking to you like a schoolteacher to a student who did something wrong) before they let you back into your room. Meanwhile your dog will be completely stressed after hearing you at the door trying to get in. Here's an idea - have a floor where it's all dog rooms so nobody gets their shorts in a bunch. Ruined our vibe for the visit and will never stay here or suggest that anyone else does. As a bonus, one of small shops near the lobby was pushing me to come in and purchase some cream for $800 (not kidding) and when I declined he SPIT on the floor in front of me. Didn't even know how to respond to that. Walked away shaking my head. So in summary - just don't stay at Luxor there are way too many other options.

    Fur Friendly

We stopped in here with our two little red Poodles to see the Titanic exhibit, get some Starbucks and lunch. Everyone was very accommodating with the dogs. We kept them out of the food area and off of the carpeted area for the most part, to be polite. The guests seemed to enjoy visiting with our little babies ;-)

    Horrible experience

No parking, we were not able to check in using the mobile app, we waited in line forever to check in at the front desk and they were unable to verify my reservation and they also had a sneaky $40 resort fee and $100 per pet fee that was nowhere to be found on their website. We canceled our reservations and just ate the nonrefundable $37. I will never stay there again.
