Visitors find the Tonopah Station Hotel and Casino to be conveniently located, with clean rooms and friendly staff, though some note it is showing its age and may lack ideal pet-friendly amenities. They report the hotel's casino and smoke-filled interior can be unpleasant, and the building's layout with numerous steps makes it challenging to transport luggage.

    Multiple Issues

The hotel was in a good location and was quiet. Room was fairly clean, but dusty under beds and in corners. My main complaint is threefold: 1) When you enter the hotel, you're hit with a wall of smoke. VERY smoky due to the attached casino. 2) It was a long trek to our room; the hotel is very spread out, with multiple low steps within a hallway, so not easy to transport luggage. 3) No green space for pets.

    Really Nice Staff

Nice place, but no real dog area. Simon had to relieve himself in the parking lot. Interior rooms were a little cumbersome to get the dog outside. But the staff were all very friendly.

    Quirky stop

This hotel is conveniently located on the main drag. It has an old West theme and could use a facelift and a good cleaning. All the rooms are on the second floor and the corridor has several sets of steps (4-5 steps) all along the way, so hauling luggage is not the easiest task. The steps in this corridor are filthy and could use a good vacuuming (I know vacuuming steps is a pain, but they are gross). Fido has to go in and out through this corridor into either an elevator or a staircase which is not so convenient. There is nowhere to walk Fido except the parking lot, which has a few plants to pee on. The room was satisfactory, although I did find a used washcloth left behind in the shower. There is a casino and restaurant on site but I didn't try them out.

    Dog friendly

Very sweet staff. Quaint hotel and casino. There was an OHV trail nearby that my dog enjoyed before we headed to Vegas.

Nice for an old hotel - we would stay there again

Lots of great nostalgia. It was an old room and not a lot of power outlets. It was clean and had all the amenities expected like a fridge and coffee maker. It was also nice to have a screened window that you could open. :-) 3 bones due to age. Overall we liked it and would stay there again, Good value.

Adequate, and possibly the only game in town.

Helpful, friendly staff. Located in a remote part of the state, with a roadside location. Be prepared for some unusual odors owing to the age of the establishment, but very pet friendly and an interesting place to visit.
