From the moment we checked in we didn’t feel judged or ridiculed for having our 2 medium-large German shepherd dogs with us. Of course they say they are pet friendly but there are lots of places who allow pets and still make a big stink about it, so this was important to me! I recommend if traveling with your canine best friend, especially the big guys!
Staff was super helpful. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of the city and close to Chinatown and little Italy. Would def stay again. Super dog friendly.
Everything about staying at Roxy with our 1 year old rescue pup was easy. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay effortless. We went to a dog park a few times that was a 10 minute walk away. There was a closer one at their sister hotel, but we didn’t end up using that one.
We stayed at the hotel for 5 days with two 50lbs dogs. They allow you to sit in the bar lounge area with your dogs so you could have breakfast, lunch, and dinner and few cocktails with your dogs right by your feet during the cold winter season too when you can't sit outside. We expected to be able to walk to battery park for our dogs but all the grass area in battery park had a sign that said "no dogs allowed". Being That our dogs were suburban dogs that only pee on grass, this was hard. It was a great walk to Washington Sq park during the day, walking through Soho. Well our dogs went to NYC and learned how to pee on concrete.
