This is a very old hotel that tries to deceive us with a coat of lipstick! Bugs in the room, no place to walk the dog, security guards who were not helpful, no breakfast. You get the idea!!!

The lobby and outside area were a bit run down but the room was clean. Looked like everything but the front had been renovated. Relatively good price - others in the area were more expensive. A decent place to stay with the dog.

We needed to do some errands in Poughkeepsie so we stayed here for a night. (2 queen beds regular room $180) Question! Is 2 queen bed room $180 for a night so cheap? The front desk lady was not bad but also not friendly at all when we were checking in the place. It wasn’t first good impression. Our room was on the first floor near the front desk. It smelled like really strong cleaning products or something when I went in the room. Bed sheets were old and there was a hair in the bathroom sink. I saw a lot of dust everywhere in the room. There was coffee maker and some tea bags but I didn’t feel like using any of them. I assume the coffee maker is clean enough. I just had to crash for a night with my family and a dog so I survived but I really thought I should have looked for better place. It was very poor condition and not clean. I don’t recommend to stay here at all.

I booked online to dodge a storm. Sign said no pets but I felt confident booking through BringFido. While checking in they asked if I had a pet, yes a cat. Great this is the room for pets. Got my pet deposit back next day.

There was room to park our motorcycle trailer for the night and the front desk girl was nice. I heard other guests complaining about toilet and shower problems but our room was clean and everything worked as it should. Bed was comfortable. Hallways smelled like weed but that's not the hotels fault... Lol

Well at first it seemed pleasant but then the front end was a bit nasty when I told her we was told we could check in at 1pm (we was there for a 7 day stay) once we got to the room we found it clean so that was comforting. But we found when raining the rain was leaking from the back hallway sealing as we went down the stairs, the none of their employees was wearing masks except the front desk. All the maids n workers did not wear them at all. A big sign on front door says no mask do not enter yet the front desk failed to maintain that ruling and many guest did not bother to wear the masks. Which by the way is law and this is a hotel for crying out loud ppl come from all over yet no one said anything. The vending machines was out the dryer was out and a horrible smell came from the hallways rugs upstairs where we was. This had been our favorite hotel for like two years but after the mask situation and how badly it’s fallen in its guest safely and comfort I’m sorry to say we will not be returning to this hotel again.. we are planning another stay for our anniversary next month but it will be to the hotel in front of them. So so disappointed.. best of luck and I hope my information helps u to bring these things up to date so u won’t loose anymore business. My spending was well over 800$... thank you for your time..

Everything clean smells clean dogs around and nobody can say. There were dogs there. Only one complaint is the crew not friendly, no good mornings, no hi but rest of stay very pleasant I definitely go back

Great price, free breakfast, plenty of space to walk the dogs. Was quiet during my stay. Rooms were clean and staff were super friendly especially to my pooch.

Clean rooms and adequate outdoor space to walk the pup. Could hear every move of ppl and dog above us. If you stay, maybe request top floor.

They put us in a room near a door when we booked a room. The staff was very nice and the rooms are nice too! No carpet and no pet fee!
