      Needs refurbishing

      My room looked like it was battered with a hammer but others weren’t like that. Was told there were lots of dog guests but no smell or sounds. Unpleasant smells from cooking in hallways. Chose less expensive hotel because I was traveling solo and only needed a decent bed at halfway point that allows pets. Wish there were a reliably decent chain that fit these criteria.

      Very Pet Friendly!

      Perfect location for us on our recent visit to Rochester, unfortunately for a funeral. We stayed there four nights in July. The staff was most accommodating to all our wishes, and eagerly made friends with our 19-pound Cavalier, Abby. The room was older and could have been cleaner and there was a. slight pet odor on the second floor. But, as dog people, we could tolerate. We could get poopie bags on request and Abby quickly learned that the staff were her friends, and often had a biscuit for her! Can not say enough about the helpfulness and service of the staff. Abby would stay there again. And so would we, with Abby. Thank you Extended Stay for your help during a most difficult time in our lives.

      Two Stars for Humans, Five Stars for Dogs

      No elevator, no breakfast, no dishes in the kitchen, but no issues getting our dog registered at check in and ample grounds for dog walks !

      The hotel was a bit dated but our room was very large and very comfortable. Doggie waste disposal bins very overflowing and smelly. Front desk clerk at check-in was possibly the rudest person I've ever met and I don't say that lightly.
