I have never before been charged $150 a night for bringing a little dog. It was more than the room charge. Plus tv didn't work. I was informed dog fee was a refundable deposit till I saw my receipt. Hotel refused to refund.

Our first experience at Candlewood Suites was great for us and our pooch. Plenty of grassy areas for walking. The caddy in the shower that holds shampoo, etc. was very dirty and had at some point fallen and damaged the tub. The rest of the suite was very clean and totally acceptable. Price was great as well.

This was a shocking disappointment. Front desk staff was pleasant once they decided to actually attend the front desk. Rooms (tried 2) smelled horribly of smoke despite being non-smoking rooms. Insufficient linens. Rooms and common areas were not well maintained. We were relieved to check out after one night.

Not normally inspired to write a bad review but this deserves one. I booked through Bring Fido and all seemed well. Checked in early around 1:45pm and wanted to catch up on some sleep. Our room was in 2nd floor and 3rd and 4th were having renovations done. We we're settled in beds by 3pm when a tremendous amount of banging amd rattling were coming from right above us. We were so tired we slept through it for an hour only to wake up sweating at 4pm. Tried messing with the thermostat for an hour but the temperature control was not accurate or functional. By 5pm with no no covers on and sweating we decided to pack up and leave. The man who worked at the front desk said he would refund us but couldn't since we booked through a third party and we'd need to get it approved through them. I was just informed by BringFido that our refund request was denied by the hotel.
