  Didn't get the room I reserved.

  was to have a first floor superior king room, but had to accept a room with two double beds to get first floor. Wife is on oxygen and can't do steps. Less floor space for bed crates, smaller desk. No credit on room.

  Needs improvement

  Outside of hotel littered with trash and overflowing trash cans. We were quite surprised that the room was updated...no carpet (a huge plus with pets). Bathroom clean. However, bed had huge muddy paw prints all over it. No way house keeping couldn't see this. Floors which should be easy to mop were black. Lost potential at this hotel due to cleanliness. A big compliment to the girl working the desk last night who brought us clean bedding and apologized for the state of the bed.

  Sketchy hotel, not the cleanest but lovely front desk help. Just wish you could get better housekeeping. The rooms are extremely small, too small.

  You get what you pay for. Not just no frills but a junky place. Run by college students that give zero effs. Plenty of better places to stay in the area!

  Great staff, dirty floor

  We liked that the price was good, but the floor was linoleum and slippery. We kept our shoes on the whole time inside.

  Room was clean and motel is in a good location but construction workers staying on the 2nd level were cursing loudly outside their rooms and throwing cigarette butts off the balcony. Otherwise it would’ve been a 5.

  Eh. “Dog friendly” is used loosely.

  So this is kind of a trucker type place as someone else mentioned. You enter from the outside of the building and park near your door. No worrying about taking your dog down hallways and maybe getting weird looks or anything. The room we had was fairly small, just 2 double beds and mini fridge/microwave. Bathroom was tiny and the sink was outside of the bathroom. The flooring was hard which is of course nice for any cleanup. My room smelled like marijuana half the night from a next door neighbor smoking it outside. Lots of smoking all along the sidewalks and upper balcony so hard to get away from it. At least the room seemed pretty clean though.

  But dog friendly? Eh. I wouldn’t say that. Maybe if your dog or dogs are tiny. The front desk girl wasn’t super pleasant and when I said I needed a pet friendly room she asked how many dogs and how much each weighed. Said mine were over the weight limit (2 weimaraners) and I asked what she expected me to do about it? She let it slide but then was like well next time know only 1 is allowed. Um ok. I’ve stayed at 2 holiday inns on this trip and they were extremely dog friendly, no weight restrictions and minimal pet fees. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless your dog is small and you just need to pop in late at night just for a bed.

  Unexpected for a Red Roof Inn

  This motel was/is a reformulated Super 8 or Motel 6. Generally, not a wonderful experience. Like all RRs in which I have stayed, does have wood flooring rather than carpet which is a very good touch for a dog friendly place -- not that we needed it. But, other than that and the price, it had little to recommend it. Staff friendly so no issues there. BringFido has a standard "exercise" paragraph for dog necessary. Seldom applies and did not in this case. Overall, I would not recommend this place if one is looking for Red Roof Inn quality. Ok for a one night sleep over and move on, but just understand it's a trucker motel, not a typical Red Roof Inn.
