    Ace Hotel Portland is in the old Clyde Hotel building in downtown Portland. We?re a block from Powell's Books, a block from the Pearl District, and an easy stroll to just about everywhere else. Portland takes public transportation pretty seriously? you can hop a train or a bus and get most places across the river in no time at all.

      Would definitely stay again

      The bed was comfy, the bathrooms were always clean, and I got to bring my pup! What more could you ask for?

      A++ location, A++ staff

      1 night with large dog in standard back room. Not a lot of extra space but the amazing reservation clerk advised us of that so we knew e we were choosing that and it was fine. Hotel itself can best be described as an upscale hostel/boutique hotel vibe. Very friendly. Continental breakfast room, small lounge. VERY pet friendly-treats at desk. Location is amazing. No parking but lots across the street was very helpful and monitored by staff all day and does in and out privileges $30/24hrs. Not sure the A/C in our room was working well but it was fine.

      Friendly helpful staff, rustic rooms

      The rooms are pretty bare bones (ha!) and the “quiet” side of the building is dark, but it’s clean and perfectly adequate. Hotel coffee was excellent. Staff helpful. Can definitely recommend.

      Highly enjoyed

      Was traveling through with my small dog. The hotel was great and really liked the location. Very comfortable room and friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommend.

      Great Stay!

      We had a great stay here with our 80 lb lab and cat! While driving through on a road trip it was a great place to stay for a couple nights with the animals. The only thing is that the room we chose was pretty cozy with two people and two animals. It all worked out but if you have a larger dog I would try to ensure a larger room!
