Hotel DeLuxe welcomes two pets of any size for an additional fee of $50 per pet, per stay. All pet-friendly rooms are located on the third floor. Both dogs and cats are allowed, and crated pets may be left unattended in the room if a cell phone number is provided to the front desk. There is no pet relief area on the property, but there are grassy areas a short walk away. Waste bags are also available at the front desk. For same day arrivals, please call 877‑411‑3436 to confirm availability of a pet-friendly room.

As others have noted, this hotel doesn't have any green space for dogs mostly due to it being located on a city block. It was our first stay in Portland with a dog and I would say that downtown in general is not a great place to stay with a pet as there are few green spaces. Also, they are not providing housekeeping services for short stays even though they charge $25/day for a 'guest amenity fee.' We were there 3 nights and I'm not sure how long you have to stay to warrant housekeeping. All this to say, there are a lot of added charges: parking ($35/day), guest amenity fee ($25/day) and pet fee ($50/stay).As a hotel it's fine, but as a place to stay with your dog I'd say it's not that great.

Hotel DeLuxe is not a good choice for a dog stay. There is no place for the dogs to go to the bathroom if they are uncomfortable voiding on concrete. The grass area they references is cordoned off with fencing. There were no doggie bags in the dispenser outside, and no place to dispose of used bags. Detailed response to a text query supposedly from the manager went unanswered. An awful experience for my family and our senior dog. There are much better options in PDX, choose one for your family.

This hotel was nice, the room was small but comfortable. No grassy area for the dog. I give it 1bone due to the deceptive pricing. On the BringFido website parking was listed as an amenity,it was 30 dollars a day. Was told could have got a deal if I had used their website to book. In all we paid $131 over the quoted price per day. There was a 20 dollar a day amenity fee, apparently cleaning the room is not included in the amenity as ours wasn’t cleaned. Will not go back as I don’t appreciate this deceptive price gouging.

The staff here are amazing. I called to check they had a dog friendly room as we were arriving into Portland on our road trip and they said yes and asked the dogs names. When we arrived ten minutes later they had a welcome card and package ready and waiting for the boys. It was really cold out so none of the dog-friendly restaurants had their patios open and we were so delighted when they told us we were welcome to sit in the lovely lobby lounge and have drinks and dinner with the dogs with us. Such a treat. The only downside is there is not much green in the surrounding two blocks for pees and poos in the middle of the night but needs must and it all worked out just perfectly.
