Traveling with two large dogs can be a logistical challenge. We rely on La Quinta and their great pet policy to know we can always find a place with no hidden fees. We all enjoyed our trip to Portland.

This location was practical, housing pets on their first floor. There was an area for pet relief near the hotel, but it was not monitored/cleaned of litter and waste not picked up by other pet owners. They very much accepted dogs. However, there was not an enthusiastic welcome and the room was small leaving little space for a kennel without stacking furniture.

We stay here often. The rooms are clean and pet friendly. The staff are friendly. This is no noisier than the Sheraton down the road. They have joined Wyndam this year but have not adopted Wyndam’s egregious $25 pet fee. The same story at the SEATAC location.
