  UNEXPECTED

  I usually find great hotels on BF, but this was the exception. The room was extremely old. Torn furnishings, a closet but no clothes rod or hangers, only one wash cloth, no screen on the bathroom window (so let in mosquitos), and some of the electrical outlets weren't working. When we thought we were charging our phones, they weren't being charged.

  Wish I could give it 1/2 a bone rating!

  One of the worst hotels I've stayed in! Apparently "pet-friendly" to them means giving pet owners the most run-down and dirty room in the place. The carpet was disgusting, the furniture was old and broken, the bathroom had holes in the walls (some of which were half patched), and the walls in the room were dark, dingy, and in desperate need of paint. The TV remote did not work, and there was no ice bucket, or drinking glasses in the room. As previously mentioned, there is no true "pet area". Just a place near the chain link fence in the parking lot, which has no grass, only dirt, and rocks. The young man at the front desk was polite, professional, and helpful. That is the most positive thing I can say about my stay.

  Excellent front desk staff. Hotel is under major refurbishment. Our room was good.

  Keep movin

  The location was different but we thought ok, let's see. The hotel was full, very noisy, dated and unclean. Right next to I-5 made the noise magnified with all doors to the rooms facing the highway. I was not comfortable walking my dog alone as it is behind a shopping center that had many unsavory campers/rvs. There is no pet area, just an fyi. The room while large was disgusting. Neither my husband nor I changed clothes to sleep and did not shower in the morning, that's how gross. The shower grout had pink scum all over it, that doesn't happen in one night. The carpet was dirty, the undersheet on the uncomfortable bed had a yellow stain down it and if you ran the air conditioner that did not work well at all, you would smell cigarette smoke from those outside coming in. The sink was plumbed wrong, hot was cold and cold was hot.....like seriously how do you not check that before saying yea we finished this job, but it was left as is. There was a bench in the sink area that was made of a marble like material and just as heavy that looked like it would fall down and injure you if you sat on it. The sway in it was incredible! At 2am the downstairs neighbor decided it would be nice to berate a child in the parking lot, towering over him and screaming right in his ears and face. All in all, horrible experience and won't be back.
