    Good for dogs, that's it

Nice big grassy areas for dogs but rooms are dirty, bathroom fixtures rusty, and ceilings mildewy.

    Dingy Motel, Billing Incorrect

The property itself was nice, but the room was dated and dingy. There were other wings of the motel that looked to be abandoned, which made it feel less secure. Motel property backed up to a nice neighborhood, which was great for walking doggies--Sidewalks around and quiet streets within. HOWEVER, the billing was all messed up. I was charged for 2 extra pet fees, and additional taxes that seemed to be a double-charge. I checked out on 11/28, called the front desk after reviewing my bill told them there were mistakes. The woman said she would forward to her manager, who would call me back later that day...well 5 days later, I have not received a call from them. I called 3 times, and eventually gave up and decided to pursue dispute through my credit card company. :(

    Just OK

I didn't have many choices when I booked late for a dog show (my RV generator went suddenly on the fritz). There were some big upsides to this property. Lots of (I mean A LOT) green space to walk the dog. Nice property, shaded, felt very safe. The staff was great, accommodating, friendly. The price is good. But the rooms... I had to be assigned to three rooms before one worked. The lights weren't working in my first room, the door wouldn't open in the second. The third room I stayed in, but the carpet was old and worn and the room smelled distinctly of ammonia, likely from years of damp carpet and perhaps pet accidents over the years. The bathroom fan was so loud (as were the fans in neighboring rooms) that I never turned on the lights in there. One more positive... the bed sheets were clean and the bed/pillows were comfortable. I did not use the blankets provided as I always bring my own to protect hotel bed from dog hair. It seems like this was once a nice resort, and with room makeovers I think it could be again. But I'd have to say the air quality and dirty/worn carpets (they were obviously vacuumed) was a deal breaker for any return stays without room updates.

    Easy access to interstate

We had a nice stay at the Parkview. There is a lot of green space to walk dogs. They were made to feel welcome. The bed was comfortable; we appreciated the continental breakfast.

Great Stay! No Bones About It!

Bare bones and nothing fancy but still had a great stay! More than ample grassy areas for Fido to enjoy outside. No complaints.
