  Me and 2 mastiffs

  This was my last stay on my cross country trip (thank heavens). I've given my scores not on the plushness but on how the hotel and employees deal with 2 large dogs, one is a 158 lb puppy. The only negative point is the area you walk your dog; there wasn't much area, only the hill between hotel and road, and it was too steep. Besides that good mattress, it was clean and dog friendly.

  Security concern

  The staff was friendly at checkin. It seems the pet friendly rooms are around back with entry to the hotel in the same location. Makes sense to not bring the pets through the front door. Unfortunately, the lock on the external door was busted so anyone could come in. I would not have stayed there had I been alone because of that.
  I was assured maintenance would be notified. However the next morning as we were leaving, I noticed that many if not all of the external doors were not locked. The locks were broken/busted.
  The towels in the tub left something to be desired , but it was otherwise a clean place.

  Very clean & comfortable stopover

  The room was very clean. Bed was reasonably comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses, so that’s a compliment). Excellent selection of TV channels. My only complaint was that the hallway smelled of stale cigarettes.

  Dirty and old

  Stayed here during a cross country move. They gave us a smoking room even though we'd requested non smoking. After the stress of carrying the animals up the stairs and finding the room, we were not going to relocate. It stunk in the room which was twice as unpleasant for our dog and cat. The remote control didn't appear to have been wiped down and the cable system was so old it didn't even have a guide button. According to the cleaning card, the room had been vacant for two weeks which in some ways made us feel better. Toiletries were minimal, just bar soap! It looked very empty and like some parts of the building had been closed up. State police patrolled the parking lot which had only three other vehicles in it. Overall, if we hadn't just driven nine hours in the snow, we would have kept looking for some other place to stay, but in this case the room kept us dry overnight, so it did the minimum we required. I wouldn't stay again!

  Nice staff!

  The gentleman that greeted us when we arrived after midnight was courteous and helpful!

  The rooms were clean and warm. Just missing shampoo/conditioner in the showers!
