    Forget about it

I was woken up around 8am by foulmouthed people who did not want to do the work they are paid to do. Simply clean a basic room; they want to cut corners and if you possibly get something dirty they do not want to change. They get angry and charge you. We actually rebooked our room yet housekeeping continued to harass us asking when we were going to vacate the room. Then after I signed the paper work, I asked for a fresh set of towels and toiletries while I set the do not disturb sign on the door, I was told the man in charge of that the woman at the front desks brother he would leave them outside of our door in a bag. I did not give anyone permission to enter our room and made sure to reiterate that I did not want them in our room.

We left went to an appointment; when we returned a new woman at the front desk said excuse me we need to talk you owe us $50 to replace towels, I said excuse me. She then showed me pictures inside of our room of towels that were stained. The man not only entered our room but snooped through our stuff and took the towels. My girl dyed her hair earlier but used our towels we brought with us from home. She always brings our towels when she needs to dye her hair. So he stole our towels and they tried to extort $50 from us. I have never stayed in such a dirty unprofessional hotel and been treated so ridiculously. I suggest you spend a few more dollars and stay either behind there or across the street for a proper room and to be treated properly.

    Last Minute Cancellation by Hotel

After receiving confirmed reservation from BringFido and paying in advance as required, I was informed upon arrival that my reservation had been canceled by the owner because I had specified 3 pets. I called BringFido immediately and was told by them they had been contacted approx. 2 hours earlier and sent me email. Since I was driving 3 hours to the location, I didn't get message and was told by front desk upon arrival. I had to find another hotel on my own that would take pets and was then told by BringFido that hotel was refusing to refund my advance payment and that I would have to call to request that from hotel myself. Hotel management would not return my calls. This entire situation with the hotel and BringFido was unacceptable.

My reservation should have never been confirmed and required my advance payment 3 days in advance if the hotel was to have the option to cancel my reservation at the last minute and keep my advance payment saying I had missed the cancellation window of 1 day before arrival date to receive refund. Bottom line: Hotel cancelled causing me significant problem finding another location at the last minute after arriving there and should have refunded my advance payment at the least. I would have expected BringFido to have represented me better and assured my refund. Instead, I was left on my own and keep receiving these requests to review my stay like I actually stayed at Red Roof Inn. Would not recommend and would give 0 stars if that was an option. Beware of making reservation there and thinking it is secure when told it is confirmed.

    Clean, quiet, close to Lititz

We travel quite a bit and always with our golden retriever in tow so Red Roof Inn is always our go to when available. This is our first time staying at this location but we will definitely be back when we visit Lititz again as its only about 15 minutes from town. From check in to check out our stay was awesome, in no small part because of the friendly staff. I've noticed recently that the beds in Red Roof Inns are higher off the ground which I'm not very fond of but they were comfy and I'm only there to sleep so no real biggie, the height just makes it a bit awkward to get up into. Our room was clean with 2 queen beds and a mini fridge, no microwave which seemed odd but wasn't an issue since we didn't need one. The only issues I had with the room were the following:

    1. The bathroom has motion activated lights/fans which is a pain in the
butt for late night potty runs because it wakes anyone else in the
room up and you do have to manually turn them off.
    2. Only 2 pillows on each queen bed, what's up with that, at least 3 or 4
per bed is what other hotels provide.
    3. There was a wad of tissue protruding from the peep hole and the gap
at the bottom of the door allowed a lot of light and hall noise in.
    4. The recessed lighting in the bathroom had no covers, you could
see straight up into the ceiling - cobwebs, drafts and all.
    5. We booked a double queen room and there were only enough
towels, washcloths and hand towels for 2 people, no extras in
case you'd like to wrap your wet hair in one and dry off with
    another.

This location does offer a complimentary breakfast - nothing fancy, just the basics - waffles, bagels, cereal, etc. but there is minimal seating in the area where it is served so hubby and I just skipped it since it was the weekend and the hotel was packed. There are areas outside to walk your pets but make sure you clean up after them, we noticed several piles of poop just walking to the area where pets were supposed to relieve themselves. There was one other odd thing about this location, it is hooked to an Econo Lodge and totally threw me off when we pulled into the parking lot but other than that we had no issues at all and will definitely be back - quiet, well lit parking lot, easy access to the highway and restaurants.

Very much a cheap hotel. Very strong cigarette smell, as if someone is still smoking. Sign said $250 fine but no care. Lights in bathroom ceiling all missing fixtures. Fan in bathroom torn out of ceiling & not replaced. Towels & washcloths stained & had hair on them. Was required to walk the across parking lot about 20+ yards in the storm to walk dog. Not permitted near hotel. Parking lot & grass was flooded from the storm so it would have been nice to for staff to make an exception. Not in a nice location.
