Nice place connected to splash lagoon. We didn’t use it but it’s right there. Awesome breakfast and customer service. Love having all the restaurants right around the hotel.

We came to Erie for a mini vacation and decided to stay at Hawthorne Suites. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel gave us a very spacious room that easily accommodated our dog and her large crate. The pet relief area was in the back and had poop bags provided. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and we would stay here again with our pup.

Our girls were treated like queens. The employees knew them by name and greeted them every time they walked by. The room was clean except for a mildewed shower curtain. Our only real complaint is that our room got no service the 4 days we were there, despite our request. We were able to get fresh towels from the desk but I feel that at almost $250 a night, if we ask to have someone take the trash, it should be done. Also, every day our room keys had to be reset. It's noisy, but that's what you get when the hotel is attached to a water park. The employees were all great, especially evening manager David.
