Downtown Albany 1-Bedroom Apartment
Beautiful 1 bedroom apartment located in the heart of Downtown Albany! Welcome to the Mark on Maiden Lane @ 37 Maiden Lane! Located on a cobblestone street; one of Albany's oldest dating back to the 17th century! We are located at the corner of North Pearl and Maiden Lane.
2nd floor apartment (with an elevator on site) hardwood floors, custom kitchen, dinette table, soaking bathtub, central AC, custom LED lighting and more! Fantastic deli downstairs, the Cobblestone Lunch Shoppe. Walking distance to Corning Preserve waterfront (on the Hudson River).
The building went through an 18 month renovation and completed in Jan 2021. Custom kitchens, soaking bathtub, central heat and AC, LED lighting, elevator on site and more! There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a queen pull out couch that sleeps two in the living room.
Free washer / dryer in the hallway (shared with 1 other apartment).
The kitchen is fully furnished with pots, pans, utensils, salt / pepper, olive oil and cooking gear! Every stay includes water bottles, granola bars, oatmeal packets and microwavable popcorn. There is a Keurig machine with K Cups, sugar, creamer and Tea.
There is a desk workstation in the bedroom with a monitor, keyboard and mouse for your use.
In addition, included with your stay is soap, shampoo and conditioner. Just in case you left at home - we also included an individually wrapped toothbrush and packages of Colgate toothpaste!
WiFi - there is Wifi throughout the apartment. WiFi extender in the living room. Strong steady signal, excellent for remote work!
Parking: There is a city owned parking garage via Park Albany called Riverfront Garage. It is less than a 5 minute walk from the garage to the building (1 block away). Garage entry is 1.5 block away at the corner of Broadway and Columbia Street. Parking garage is behind the Federal Court building. If you park towards the end of the garage, you will be at the corner of Maiden and Broadway. For long term stays (over 1 month) one monthly parking space will be included.
Pets: Pets must be given permission. We love pets and try to ensure you and your furry friends enjoy your trip! Any damage, unannounced or non-permitted pets will incur a $250 charge. With that in mind, we ask you to clean up as best as possible. If needed, there may be an additional $25 cleaning fee per stay (requested after the stay if necessary). This would reflect additional cleaning if needed.
TV: The apartment comes equipped with (x2) smart TVs. One in the bedroom and a second TV in the living room.
The apartment is equipped with blackout shades for the bedrooms, blow dryer, Keurig machine for coffee, sweetener, creamer, tea bags, corkscrew / bottle opener, pizza cutter, toaster, cutlery, cutting board, ice trays, dishes, pots, pans, laundry detergent and USB outlets.
Linens: All towels, sheets and duvet covers are laundered before/after every stay.
Books and Games: Additionally the apartment is equipped with Monopoly, Jenga, Connect4, a couple books including two kids books: The Hungry Caterpillar & One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.
Heat / AC: The apartment has central heat & AC. The thermostat is on the wall in the living room. Additional fan in the closet for extra airflow.
Entry Door Code: The building and apartment both have electronic locks. A code will be issued for your stay.
Security Cameras: The building has security cameras at the main entrances and inside the building’s lobby / common areas. There are NO video or recording devices in the unit. There is a Nest Wifi Extender - with NO recording abilities. IF you see anything suspicious - PLEASE ALERT ME IMMEDIATELY.

Located in the heart of Downtown Albany, Maiden Lane is one of Albany's oldest streets - dating back to the mid 1600s when it was called Rom Street. The building is located on a cobblestone lined block at the corner of North Pearl & Maiden Lane. The Corning River Preserve is located 2 blocks away.

Parking: There is a city owned parking garage via Park Albany 1 block away at the corner of Maiden Lane and Broadway in front of the court (Riverfront Garage). Parking over the weekend is free in the garage and on the street! Free weekend parking is Friday evening 6AM till Monday morning 8AM. The daily parking fee is $13. For long term stays, monthly parking space will be included.
Please be respectful of the building’s other tenants. Should you have any issues or questions, please call or text me right away. We take great pride in making sure you have an enjoyable stay.
The apartment has a Cold Air Heat Pump for Heat and Air Conditioning. The thermostat is mounted on the wall in the living room. During the summer, please set AC at 72 when leaving. During the winter, please set the heat to 66 when leaving.
