The location was great but the hotel could use some improvements. It’s currently going through renovations so maybe things will change in the future. Right after I got all of my stuff in the room, the door wouldn’t open anymore. The front desk worker was eventually able to get it open but they switched my room. Surprise, the second room’s door had issues as well. It usually took three tries to get it to open which was very frustrating. The air wasn’t working well in the room - it was either freezing or felt like a sauna. I also had someone knock on my door a few minutes after 10 to see if I was checking out; check out time was 11 but it seemed like they were trying to hurry people along so they could get started cleaning rooms.

It was Hitz’s first hotel stay. She loved it. She enjoyed sleeping in her own Queen bed.

Great location. Lobby needs a much better presentation as rundown, dark and almost depressing. (poor first impression) Only one desk person and she had stepped away to help another guest, leaving front desk unattended for a period of time. Someone’s previous comment about back door being open to anyone and many utility or work trucks spot on.. a little concerning as our room was right off that exit. Room had a large safe that didn’t work as batteries were so corroded so not sure why they waste the space! Get rid of it! Room was a pleasant surprise, large, clean, bright-good space for dog, very close to downtown and Woodside. Aiken was very dog friendly and had a great meal at Casa Belle where he was allowed! Breakfast was limited and by 9am there was limited juice, plates (only bowls for waffles) and no one around but not a deal breaker. Housekeeper was very sweet and adored all the dogs she met! Bed was super comfy!!! Great night sleep.

Great location, plenty of grass for dog walking, but outside entrance locks falling off, hall carpet stained, fridge knob broken, ac deflector laying in corner, light bulbs inoperable, breakfast barely there, room carpet wrinkled and worn badly. Price was fair, but conditions should be better for the price. I will find another place next time.

The Sleep Inn was excellent. The room was clean and well appointed, the property was nice and the staff extremely friendly. The pet fee was only $15 for a dog. I will definitely stay here again.
