Super nice folks. This is an older property, but everyone was wonderful and helpful. The location is very convenient and decently cheap; at least by today's standards.

Prashant Patel (mgr) Brandon (Front counter and I hope I got his name right) were very accommodating and welcoming....hotel is easily a 2 star hotel with a 4 star feel. Room was clean and had an aroma of being sanitized. Coffee in the room was high quality. The bed was a very comfy king with what felt like a weighted comforter to sleep under. Towels were amazingly soft and heavy, unlike most hotels where they are paper thin and about as soft. The property was well lit and was right off the highway and gave us quick and easy access to Anderson, Pendleton, Seneca, Clemson, and some other towns I have never heard of. This hotel is very dog friendly. The pet fee was average but our 50# was welcomed with open arms and tons of love. After speaking with Mr Patel for about 25 minutes, he gave us local suggestions on where to eat and what to see.

Front desk personnel super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and decor was updated with nice colors, etc. At night parking lot had plenty of lights to feel safe walking our dogs. Also plenty of grass for dogs. That said, it is an older property with a bit of rustiness and outside hallways so if you are sensitive to that this may not be for you. But it was super easy to walk the dogs, clean, good price and again the staff were all great.

The accommodations were fine. Unfortunately a storm blew through and power went off for several hours. Not the Baymont Inn's fault (tho you'd never know that from some guests' reactions). The front desk person responded to our inquiries and ran out for bottles of cold water for us. Very sweet response. Location was ideal--close to Interstate and food options.
