This was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. To start, we parked in the lot across the street when we got in. It was littered with trash and people getting high. I called the front desk to be sure it was the right parking lot. I got someone to pick up and I asked if this was the right spot and they said please hold you have to speak to someone else. I was put on hold and it rang so many times it finally went to a busy signal and the call dropped. So I said heck with it and walked to the lobby to check in.
When I got to the lobby, it was packed with people dressed up to go party on the rooftop. I told them I was checking in and they asked for my license. Then the lady said sorry your not the name on file. I told them it's my wife. Mind you, we have the same last name, same credit card number and same address but they told me "it's policy" and it would have to be her ID. So I walked back to the lot about a block away and told her she had to go check in.
Meanwhile my dog is getting a little anxious waiting. My wife went in and I went to valet park. You only have 2 options for parking really. $35 to leave your car in the hood lot with trash and pot heads (and if you have a packed car from traveling, no way I was leaving my car out there) or $50 valet. The valet guys had the personality of a rock and barely said 2 words.
We then get our key cards and my dog isn't the biggest fan of elevators so we tried the steps. We asked for a room on the first floor when we booked but they didn't reply saying if they could do that or not. We got to the third floor but you can't access the 3rd floor by steps because they don't have a key card access. Floor one and 2 does however, so this makes no sense at all. Basically forcing you to take an elevator unless you're on floor 1 or 2.
So we hike back down, try to get on a elevator but had to wait forever because party goers kept taking the elevators that opened up. My dog gets anxious around people and you would think someone would read the room and let us on an elevator since we had bags on our back and a dog, but nope, not one person offered to let us go and they would catch the next one. We finally get on the elevator, which was rough since my dog hates them, and the key card doesn't work. Basically standing there while the doors kept reopening. We go back to the front desk and they had to reactivate our cards and then we could go up the elevator. All the while, there are people flooding in and out of the lobby for the rooftop party scene and my dog is full blown nervous.
We got settled, took the steps down and used the space behind the building for our dog to go potty. I noticed they did not have waste bags at the waste station. There were people behind the building getting high near the bridge. So we hurried up and went back up. The room was okay. The sink was clogged and if you want ice you have to take an elevator up to the 6th floor. The next morning I got ice and people had boxes of trash outside their rooms. I went down to take my dog to the bathroom and there was pizza on the floor outside the lobby entrance, drink glasses in the planters outside the doors, cigars on the floor -- just trashy. Valet guy standing there on his phone and I'm thinking, "Couldn't he grab some of this while standing here?"
The whole experience was bad. And they KILL you in fees. When we checked out it was $300 after fees and parking. Staying here made me realize why we choose Airbnb most of the time. But we drove 7 hours and this was right off the highway so figured it would be nice. And I thought Hyatt was known to be a nicer place. This is a party hotel good for people who want to party. Sure you can bring a dog, but it's like walking your dog through the club to get to your room. I wouldn't stay here again.

Staff was friendly and helpful!! Food and libations were awesome. There was water and treats for the pups as we walked into the lobby. Liked the puppy areas for outdoor business. Hotel close to shopping and local restaurants. We had a little plumbing issue that they fixed while we had our fab breakfast. My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay and we will be back.

Staff are friendly, guests seem to like dogs. There’s a little fenced in area for your dog to run around, and a poop bag dispenser nearby.

They were great all around. We got to the area early and they allowed us to check in early. They were great with us having a dog and our dog loved having the little gated area for him to be off leash.

Upscale, new hotel. Laminate floors! Dogs allowed in the restaurant (but not the roof top bar). No one told me on arrival. Nor was I told there was complimentary coffee in the restaurant. Wish I had known about the $40 valet only option for parking. That said, with no pet fee, it didn't come close to fees I have paid for sub-par hotels. We will always stay here on our journeys through Atlanta.

Our stay was very pleasant. All the staff was super friendly. Delicious vegetarian food. On the 15th floor there is a bar with a spectacular view. Our 2 puppies and cat had a great time.

We brought two Ridebacks (80lbs each). No extra dog fees. Two dogs allowed at any weight. My two dogs loved their time!
