Room had a loud noise like a generator just outside. The restaurant was very unwieldy, no room service. Placed an order and was going to be called to pick it up and they never called, so I went down after a while to find the order sitting on the bar, cold. Everyone there seemed to enjoy dogs, however.

The staff was very welcoming of our 2 year old pup, and with several other dog parents with their pups staying there too. Poppy got lots of good pets and "Good girl!" praise throughout our stay. The location was perfect for both hitting up downtown Charleston & also exploring the kayaking & beauty of Shem Creek, with easy access to Sullivan's Island too. Would definitely recommend.

We found the hotel to be in a good location, parking and access to room was convenient and the facility was clean. Bar area offered meals and outside pool area was very nice. Breakfast was on same level as a Holiday Inn Express. They do allow dogs which is why we chose to stay there. Didn’t feel it justified the price.

We were very pleased with Hotel Indigo. Ricky at the desk was so helpful and friendly. The location was great, easy drive over the bridge into historic Charleston. The rooms were clean, comfortable, stocked with nice additions like coffee. Pool area had wonderful seating options. Pup was welcomed!! Highly recommend!

Convenient location, just across the bridge from Charleston. Really enjoyed the pool, the bar, the restaurant, and the room. And my dog had plenty of good walking space outside, including a bag dispenser and trash can on the lawn. Highly recommended!

Service was super friendly and accommodating for my unruly puppy. The hotel was the perfect boutique property and didn’t make us feel we were staying at a “dog hotel.” Amenities included complimentary lobby coffee and fancy filtered water. Outdoor facilities also catered to dog walking. We would definitely stay here again. Location was also convenient and close to plenty of restaurants in Mt. Pleasant.

The staff takes the time to learn your dog's name. They cheerfully greet him each day. My dog loves to be there and is allowed everywhere except the dining hall. Very clean environment.

There is plenty off grassy areas and the staff is really friendly. I like that the rooms have hard floors. And we were told the indoor restaurant is even dog friendly.

Nice hotel, lots of other dogs staying while we were there. Room and common areas were clean and comfortable. Convenient patch of grass on the side/rear of hotel w/ keyed door access, lighting and pickup/ disposal station. Dogs are allowed everywhere on hotel grounds except the main dining room for the restaurant. They are allowed around the pool area but not in the water. Well behaved dogs can be left in the rooms unattended, but excessive barking will cost you $250. Hotel does not have great security so watch your valuables when in common areas, don’t ask them for help to prove who took something that belonged to you. Other than that, hotel is convenient to several local dog friendly beaches, downtown Charleston and just across the street from Patriot’s Point. We brought our pup to doggy daycare as it rained several days that we were there and were doing indoor activities (restaurants/ tours) that weren’t dog friendly. Great vacation (the security issue wasn’t their fault but I felt that they could have been more helpful in the situation).

The location was great-right off of the bridge into Mount Pleasant with Charleston being right on the other side of the bridge.
The room was just as pictured - updated and with a great bed- nice luxury vinyl tile flooring.
The staff was great!
The pool area was like a big fun backyard- great!
Oh, and the food was great!
We were surprised with live music Thursday night. We loved being so close to the pier. There was a grassy area there to play fetch
The hotel let us eat with our dog in the bar area inside. They had doggie treats and a good pet yard for our dog too!
This is one hotel we will return to if we make it back to this area. We would rather stay here than in Charleston. - MarianneMar 7, 2021Ruby’s Big Adventure
Just stayed at the Hotel Indigo in Mt. Pleasant, SC and could not have been happier. The entire hotel loves animals from the front desk to the bartender. Clean rooms were spacious had a cool vibe to them. There was also plenty of grass for Miss Ruby to do her business. Nice safe area for walks.

We stayed here for a couple of days during the summer to visit family and this place was awesome very clean and friendly staff, pool was really nice and room was very nice. The food and bar was also great. Are dogs enjoyed them self and the hotel is close to pretty much everything. Next time we are in town we will definitely go back

This hotel is newly refurbished with laminate flooring in each room. Dogs under 80 lbs. are welcome. The outdoor pool area is amazing, and pool towels are provided. The restaurant is reasonably priced and service in the restaurant is much better than the hotel itself. In case the staff is unable to tell you where the dog walk is located, turn down the hallway to the left of the front desk. There is a door to the outside that opens to a nice grassy area. Bring your own bags. There is a receptacle, but the bag dispenser was out our entire visit.
