This place was terrible. Man in office was rude. Non-Smoking room reeked of smoke. Holes in walls and shower, peeling paint. I had to wash my feet again after my shower because I walked from bathroom to bed with bare feet. No soap in shower. I’ve machine dirty and not working. Ughhh😣

Clerk at desk was not friendly. Room was NASTY. Hole in shower ceiling was VERY disturbing. Towels were awful, felt like sand.

The place was clean. Needs some updating but it was not a scary place to stay. Not a lot of green area for the dog and there was no place to throw away the bags after cleaning up after your pet. Some people had the bags sitting outside their doors. Breakfast was not very good. A waffle maker and some boxed donuts and assorted items. Batter came out really slow to make the waffles. Craigs Deli located next door to the hotel was excellent. Eat there if you have a chance. Room was clean and bedding was good. Looked like new bedspread. Towels were scratchy. Suggest you bring your own towel. Inexpensive clean hotel. Far enough away that you didn't hear a lot of traffic noise.

Our room was very clean. Great-sized TV, fridge and microwave. Comfy king bed and the A/C worked perfectly. Plenty of green space around the motel to walk our Lab. My husband remarked on how large the car spaces were in front of each room. Friendly staff and and ok continental breakfast. Cereal, make-your-own waffles, pastries, fruit, tea and coffee. Plenty of restaurants within a mile to include Cracker Barrel. We’ll be trying a local seafood restaurant on the way back from Florida in September. This will be our stopover for all future trips through SC. Great value and no surcharge for pets. Hogan gives it 5-bones!

The room was clean, the dog walk area was convenient, refrigerator was noisy but for an overnight on the road the place is good. The exterior of the building is dated. The TV worked if you could figure out the 30+ buttons. No HBO as advertised and no Wi-Fi. The staff was friendly and breakfast was available in the lobby. A nice start to the day. I would stay again with the dog but for myself, I would go someplace better.

It was great to be able to back your vehicle within a few feet of the room door and unload everything. The room was OK, could have used a better cleaning. The chair had paw scratches and a few rips on it. I took a picture and showed the front desk clerk, just to ensure he didn't think my dog did it. He was unaware of the chair's condition and offered another. I told him we would live with it for the one night we were there.

Not many choices in Santee, and no pet fee was charged. Not a lot of areas to walk your dog, but ok for a quick overnight stay. Room was mediocre.

Stopped here on our way from MA to FL and it was great. It was in a convenient location right off the highway with an easy check in/check out process. There was a strip of grass right across the parking lot where we could walk the dogs. The room was clean and comfortable.

This is an older place, but the rooms have been renovated and have vinyl flooring, which is great for the dogs! Parking is right outside your room and there are plenty of sidewalks to walk your pup. Definitely not a luxury hotel, but it was clean, safe, had a fridge and microwave, tv and internet, free breakfast, and was a great price. I’ll definitely consider staying here again if I’m ever in the area!

The hotel was nearly deserted, and felt unsafe. The wifi didn't work. The person at the desk said someone would come by, but never did. The little breakfast that was there was stale. The plumbing in the shower was difficult to operate. However, the room was clean and the mattress was comfortable.

Clean, quiet comfortable room. Beds were comfy. Room had clean laminate flooring so no stinky carpet. And all rooms exit to the parking lot for easy day walking. We will stay here again when traveling in this direction. Good overnight location. Nice deli next door!

We didn’t expect much but…there was dog fur from a previous guest all over the comforter, the AC didn’t work well, and there really wasn’t much grass to all the dog (even though it was advertised as grassy areas)

This is an older property so don’t expect huge modern rooms with boatloads of amenities. My room was very clean, bed and linens were very comfortable, and is updated with laminate flooring. It was quiet at night, and I felt safe. And much more affordable than others at this exit.

My husband and I, along with our German Shepherd, enjoyed our one night stay. We loved that there was no stinky carpet but instead nice laminate flooring. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.
