    Ok For One Night

Staff at check-in was friendly. Next to a Cracker Barrel. Location was ok. Very comfortable bed, not very noisy. Entrance was locked when we left and no key drop off. Floor was sticky.

    Convenient and Clean

Hotel was right off the highway so super easy to get in and out. The room had everything I needed (fridge included!). Potty area left a lot to the imagination but it was pretty well lit (lots of night bathroom breaks for puppy) and not far from the room. Even with upgrades, the room was still dated--not a deal breaker though. The room had a slight smell. The sheets and everything looked clean but had a smell to them, hence the 4/5 bones. Would recommend for quick, overnight trips.

    Not Ideal

The room they gave us was right next to the door to the 2nd floor. It was noisy and resulted in little sleep. The internet didn't work and the TV remote had low batteries. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Great location, easy on and off I-24

2 miles from the Incline Railway and 5 miles from the 3rd Deck Burger Bar.

    Clean but...

The room was clean. However, parking was not convenient and had stairs and no elevator. Ice was only in the main building.

    Room deposit

When checking in, they requested a $100 cash deposit. Nowhere was this mentioned on the website. They even had a sign on the check in counter stating this. I have stayed in several other Red Roof Inns and never been asked for this. Pet can not be left in room by themselves either (you have to sign a document stating so)! We will not stay there again!

    Disappointed guest

The rooms are supposed to be non smoking the room smelled horrible of cigarette smoke. The people above us were extremely noisy. And a cold shower the whole weekend. Accidentally reserved a handicapped room. Glad I didn’t have a wheelchair otherwise would not have been able to even get around in the room yet in the shower.

No grassy area for dog relief

Perfect accommodation that only lacked a grassy area nearby for Fido to pee.

    It was an okay stay

Not many places to walk dog. Trash was visible around facility. It was a barebones hotel... we had no issues with bugs. They didn't offer a breakfast. They're letting locals stay so you'll have people coming and going. Had a lady knock on our door asking for money with an elaborate story of why she needed it. Front desk staff was nice and lobby was clean. We wouldn't stay here again.

    Okay but wouldn't stay again

Check in was easy, no unexpected fees. The rooms are decent but our shower did not work and the sink took awhile to go down (meaning it was clogged). There was a strange homeless man outside our room with a shopping cart and wood that kept me up most of the night. When I called out check out in the morning, there was no answer at the front desk (about 5am). Not sure I would stay here again or recommend it to others.

    Quiet and Very Dog Friendly

Lots of nice dogs and surprisingly quiet at night despite being next to a highway and most of the rooms containing dogs! Lol. Would recommend 100% if you are traveling with a dog!

    Inflexible

I was booked for two nights but we had snow the first. It ruined my plans and the hotel refused to allow me to cancel the second.

    Fine Hotel

No breakfast and not a large grass area. But overall the hotel was nice considering the price. No big issues. Quick check-in.

    No green area

Nice hotel and location but no grassy area for dogs. We had to get back on the highway and go to the next rest area. This is probably why they don’t charge a pet fee.

If you are looking for an inexpensive, temporary place, this should work if your standards aren't crazy high. If you can deal with some minor issues, the location can't be beat; 15 min to area attractions & 20 min to Chattanooga. First I was given room 125 but I requested a different room because of the smoke smell. The front desk insisted it's a smoke free hotel. I'm not gonna argue with you dude, just give me a different room. The second room did not smell of smoke, it smelled like Lysol. The bed was ok, fine for a couple of nights. The shower pressure was weak & the water was about lukewarm. The dog walk area is covered with poop but that's not the hotel's fault, that's bad dog owners- just watch where you walk. My only issue were the people upstairs must have been large because when they walked around it was loud. I switched rooms & slept 1000 times better after the move. I could still hear ppl upstairs but it was much more tolerable. Another plus is they have a pretty nice indoor pool which was packed with people/kids on a Fri night. All in all, for a decent price, great location & no pet fee I would stay there again, just not long term.

    Horrible

The room smelled like smoke, the floors were filthy. Very expensive for that level of accommodations.

    Found a roach

The receptionist was rude to everyone. We found a live roach in the bathroom. The towels had stains, hair and dirt still in them.

    Ick

The location was swarming with homeless people. People out of Deliverance seemed to like this place. The water tasted so bad, I couldn’t even brush my teeth. The shower was broken. The morning desk manager was surly. Glad I had my pistol with me.

    Good Location

Rooms were decent (pets always stay free at red roof so you can't beat it) but the location was perfect. You could get to the mountain top within 15 minutes. GO TO ROCK CITY WITH YOUR DOGGO!!! Downtown Chattanooga was SUPER pet friendly and like the mountain, only 15 minutes away. Great value for its price on a weekend in June.

Where Did These Good Reviews Come From?

I booked this hotel for our trip north because it got good reviews for the price. Honestly I don’t think you were staying at THIS Red Roof Inn! I don’t expect anything fancy but the stench in the room alone was a big turn off. The bathroom smells like urine and the windows are filthy. Never again will I stay here and will do a lot more research before trusting reviews from this site.

Mobility room not a roll-in shower

The very combination of a) 2 beds b) mobility access room c) allows pets, is very slim. Fido had a great time, but the “mobility room” had no accommodations for a wheelchair bound person to get a shower. Even with a plastic chair in the tub, there was no wand to direct water.

    Great location

This was our first stop to a long journey to Colorado. My dog did very well. Accommodations were very nice and convenient Crackel Barrel that allowed my brother to walk over and pick up food for us while we waited in the room.

    Clean and basic inside

Not a ton of grassy area and they provide bags and disposal but pet owners needed to do better at cleaning up after their dogs. Rooms clean and basic.

    Unpleasant stay

This is not a pet friendly hotel at all. When we check in, the receptionist wasn’t very friendly her words were hush telling us that we cannot leave out pet alone in the room and we have to pay $100 deposit for Incase our pet damage room furniture! When we first enter, room looks good but when I went in the bathroom there were lots of sewer flys in the bathtub my husband on the shower to wash it down the drain. The Iron this hotel provides stained my T-shirt because the iron has burn stains on the plate. When we got in the bed, omg squeaky sounds every time we sit on the bed. The next day we went to the lobby for breakfast, there is a guy in the reception area gave a horrible angry look as if my fur baby is not welcome. We stay 3 days 2 nights, the second day weather was cold when we got back to the room, I on the heater OMG smell of burning in the room then the fire alarm came on!

    Horrible. Bug infested and filthy.

I walked into the room and washed my hands when a cockroach crawled out from the towel. I went into the shower area only to see used towels with someone's makeup on them. We stayed for a few more hours and when the lights were off, that is when the roaches came out. They were on the walls and on the carpet crawling around where my poor dog's water dish was. I immediately left and went to the front desk and demanded a refund. I am still awaiting a resolution as I booked through BringFido and not the hotel directly. I will never go to a Red Roof again.

    Nice rooms and friendly staff

We stayed at this hotel for one night! I loved how our room had laminate flooring. It helped give the room a more updated and clean feeling. Clean rooms and comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and helpful. Welcomed our 70lb Great Pyrenees!Would stay here again.
