Asked for a $100 deposit on check-in that was returned at checkout with no damages to the room.

The hotel could use some cosmetic updates, but the location, cleanliness and peaceful rest were good. Staff was friendly. They did ask for a $100 cash deposit on the room. I declined and offered my credit card. Seems like an outdated process, but they said it was to keep the place orderly and keep out the 'riff raff'. This is a very nice city with an exceptionally nice dog park which we spent a good amount of time at.

Everyone that worked there was very friendly. The room was clean. Get there at about 6pm and left the next morning. There was no partying or anything going on.

Room smelled bad and the bad smell was covered up (partly) with overwhelming disinfectant spray. On the bright side the bed was really comfortable, the a/c worked well, and it was quiet.

Pros: close to the interstate; no pet fees. These are both pretty important to me, hence the 3-star rating.
Cons: ridiculous policy requiring $100 CASH deposit for using a debit card. I said I’d pay for the room in advance with my debit card, so they’d have guaranteed payment. Nope. Desk clerk told me to walk next door to the bank & get cash. After driving 600 miles today, no thanks. I then tried to use my husband’s credit card. Nope. Bottom line, these people make it really hard to get a room for those of us who don’t like using our credit cards. Another con: the room is a dump. Stains on the bedspreads, gritty floors, lampshades askew, hair in bathtub. I’m usually not that picky & even give Motel 6 a good review most of the time. When was only clean once in four days. Despite having a reservation they kept making us come to the office every day to re-check in. Poor service, Not recommended.

Convenient location, quiet, exterior rooms, and easy check in process. I liked the fact that they set up a walk-up window for check in, so you don’t even have to go into the lobby (in times of Corona).

Room was good. Be aware that if you book with an outside company (bring Fido etc) , you have to give $100 cash deposit or put a credit card on file on arrival even if room is paid. This was new to us.
