  Nice, clean room. Quiet and close to highway but distant enough to keep noise etc down. Few decent restaurants nearby and gas. Staff pleasant and helpful. Places to walk dog too.

  Very Nice

  We stopped here for a night on the way home from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It was everything we wanted: quiet, easy, and comfortable. Easy to get to green space for our dog to go potty. We would stop and stay here again.

  Really convenient location

  Great location for someone doing marathon drive across country on I-40, especially after coming up and over the Blue Ridge Mountains from NC. Clean, pleasant staff, easy access to outdoors for dogs.

  Solid Spot

  The rooms have hardwood, meaning, as a dog owner, you aren’t so worried about spills or messes. The beds are cozy, and the space behind the hotel to walk your friend and let them go potty is very large and spacious. Definitely worth a stop on a road trip.

  The room was not appealing and not clean. The floors do not have carpeting so sound carries easily and dirt is very obvious. We will not stay there again.

  Super Sketchy Hotel

  Would NOT recommend this hotel. Located in a sketchy area. Room had a puddle on the floor and the door would not lock from the outside. You could open it with a push. I asked for a different room and told that I could just deadbolt it once I was inside. If I left the room for any reason there was no way to lock the door. When I complained at the desk they would not give me a different room. I stayed only because I had no other option. I slept with one eye open and couldn't wait to leave in the morning. When I took my dog out in the morning, I was approached by two women in an SUV asking for money. I grabbed my dog and belongings and left ASAP. BringFido should remove this hotel from their registry, DEFINITELY would not recommend this hotel for a single woman traveling alone with her dog!! Not clean, super sketchy and NOT SAFE!!

  Dearth of dog-friendliness near Dollywood

  I ended up staying here last-minute with my greyhound. While the staff were friendly, the room felt unclean. Might have been because we spotted a millipede immediately upon opening the door. For the price I paid, my expectations of cleanliness and room product were not met.

  Front desk was polite. Overall felt a little dingy but not gross. Just an older building. Thin walls so my dogs barked at every passing voice in the night.

  Overall nice place. The rooms were good size and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only issues were there was no hot tub- as the website advertised and the indoor pool was ice cold.

  Super Comfy Bed and Pillows

  Parking lot had zero lights so arriving at night was unsettling as we thought the place was shut down. It was erie to walk in the open front door with literally no lights on outside anywhere and only back office lights on in the front office. The person on duty was pleasant enough and even helped us to change rooms away from a noisy pooch. The room was good and very comfortable bed and pillows! Grass outside for the pooches to play and run. The hotel is older and has been updated in the last 15 years or so. We like value and comfort over aesthetics.

  Disappointing

  The toilet continued to run every time it was flushed, and had to be manually adjusted from the tank; there were NO instructions or information in the room, and it was needed for the TV: the buttons on the remote were “mushy” and had to be pushed repeatedly to even be able to move up or down to another channel. The young man at the desk couldn’t answer even simple questions like “Where can I mail a letter?” He said he wasn’t from there. None of those at the desk wore a mask despite several signs saying masks were required. I will say the lobby was clean and the room appeared clean as well.

  Friendly staff, clean room filled the need. Probably wouldn’t stay there again due to the high amount of noises semi truck traffic next door and the litter adjacent to the property itself.

  Weekend Stay

  This hotel definitely needs a makeover. I booked it for my husband and I. Wasn’t the greatest location, needs updating. Had an indoor pool but it was so cold you couldn’t get in.

  Easy And Off The Highway!

  we don’t usually book in advance when we’re road tripping. we stopped here for the night, and it was an easy choice. there isn’t much around the area in general but there is a pretty good sized pet relief area in the back. With COVID, many places we stayed were offering “breakfast” still but it was just cereal and yogurt. This Laquinta offered little sausage and biscuits, yogurt, and a granola bar in a bag to take back to your room, as well as a choice for bagels and cream cheese! It might seem small but when you are on a budget, this is a small nice gesture! It goes a long way! We also thought the beds were pretty comfortable especially after staying a few nights at other places during our trip that had literal rocks for beds! My dogs were also comfortable and the AC was really cold, my very floofy dog appreciated that 😊

  Helpful staff

  Everything was clean and nice. We had a slight problem when we first checked in (not the hotel's fault). A dog in another room started barking and growling because our dog was in the next room. So, staff simply moved us to another room, no problem. Desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Staff in the breakfast room next morning was very friendly and helpful. One of the best La Quintas I have stayed in.

  Dog friendly. Not far off highway.

  This location is right off of the highway. The facility is clean, but could use a sprucing up. I don't think that I would select this as a travel or vacation base. Everyone was professional. The breakfast was acceptable, but nothing to base a stay on.

  Good location, comfortable people beds and pillows, okay breakfast, and dog accomodation so much appreciated.
  Terrible smell (musty, moldy) in whole hotel aggravated allergies. Has there been a flood with lingering problems?

  Had a good experience with this hotel booking thru BringFido. Walked our Shih Tzu thru the lobby to our 1st room near the exit door for ease of taking Bella out. Only negative, grass was too long for her to walk in. That’s it. Would recommend.

  Clean and very dog friendly

  Stayed here on our way to South Carolina. It is very clean despite seeing a good number of dogs there. The place looked as if it was recently remodeled or at minimum painted recently.
  They have a pet walking area across the parking lot from the main entrance.

  creepy

  Although hotel is clean and staff was nice, the guests loitering by front door and in lobby were creepy. Followed us to elevator asking us what room we were in. With 2 young girls and 2 dogs (guys also said they were afraid of big Dogs) this was disturbing. Didn’t feel comfortable. Would not recommend this hotel for families with young kids. We also were not aware dogs were not allowed in lobby.
