On the plus side, the fee for my stay was refunded to me. I appreciate that very much. Thank you.
On the minus side, until several corrections are made, BringFido should remove this listing from their site. Here are some of the issues we encountered:
- No soap is provided for the rooms, only shampoo. Even after asking several times, we never received this basic item
- There was no toilet paper or trash cans in the rooms. After requesting toilet paper, we were provided 1 roll. Toilet paper holder was broken and unusable. We also received a plastic bag to put our trash in.
- The units are in various states of disrepair, from fridges that won't open, to torn chairs, curtain rods that fall off the wall, filthy carpets, inoperable light switches, etc
- In addition to serving travelers, this facility operates as housing. There is a lot of noise, music, etc in the hallways, late into the evening/night
- There is a sickeningly sweet odor permeating the floor we were assigned to (3rd)
- There are no elevators, be aware those with mobility challenges
- There were cars "hanging out" in the parking lot, not in any parking space, but just there, occupied
- TV didn't work
- Even though these are "suites" with a kitchen, there are no dishes, utensils, etc so unless you are bringing your own things, you will not be able to use as anticipated.I could go on, but you get the idea. If we hadn't arrived so late, with elderly relatives in tow, we would have left and found somewhere else to stay.
