      Great service and location

      Great service and location. You have to walk about a block and a half for grass for dogs, not as spacious and most Homewood Suites, also we were on the ground floor right by the street and Saturday night was very loud right outside the window. Higher floors might be better.

      Very Dog Friendly

      Hotel looks like it had a facelift. Most everything looks new and clean even though the building is very old. They gave me a handicap room for unknown reasons so it was very large. I was able to bring my dog into the bar but it seems that is up to the bartender. I had to keep my dog in the room while I had the free breakfast (but that's understandable). There is a small park close by that is dog friendly. A dog park is along the river - a good long walk but worth it.

      Friendly Hotel Staff

      The hotel staff was very friendly when we checked in with our Goldendoodle and doodle puppy. The room was very large, but smelled like a pet room. I was disappointed that there was no green space anywhere close to the hotel for our dogs to relieve themselves. The closest patch of grass is a few blocks behind the hotel up a steep hill. Actually, there is very little green space anywhere around the hotel to take your dogs.

      Great Stay

      We stayed the night here with our two big/medium size dogs. It was very dog friendly. The staff was extremely nice. There are two grass areas that are about a block away. One is heavy homeless. I would recommend going to the one behind the hotel at the top of the hill.
