The room was awful. Stained carpet and sofa. USB and electric connection box was sticky and covered in dog hair. The toilet wasn’t flushing properly and the sink wouldn’t drain. There were large water stains on the ceiling. I complained in the morning and was told I would be credited the $75 dog fee I had been charged. We’ll see if I really get it back. I hate that you can no longer trust in a chain hotel anymore as most are franchised out and it’s just by luck that you may get a good hotel or not. They charge us extra for our dogs, but they don’t use the extra money they get to actually clean the room. This has happened to me three times now with different hotels disguised as a decent hotel by name, but poorly managed properties.

People were genuinely happy to see our dog with us and our room was a regular one, not some far away corner or right next to the elevators.
