    Dancing Bear Lodge

    Dancing Bear Lodge welcomes three dogs of any size in designated rooms for an additional fee of $50 per stay. Cottage rooms and Villas are not pet friendly. Dogs may not be left in the room unattended. Treats are available at the front desk. There are two pet relief areas with waste stations. Cats are not permitted. For same day arrivals, please call 877‑411‑3436 to confirm availability of a pet-friendly room.

    The focal point of this 36-acre resort is the 15,000 square foot lodge offering an incredible great room with beamed cathedral ceilings, two story stone fireplace with hand carved mantle, deck with outdoor fireplace and hot tub and twelve spacious rooms with hardwood floors, regional furnishings and featherbeds. The one and two bedroom cabins offer wood burning fireplaces, fully stocked kitchens and luxurious Ralph Lauren linens. Each two bedroom cabin offers a whirlpool tub in the master bedroom and a private deck with hot tub. Living rooms in the two bedroom cabins offer a sleeper sofa. Individual charcoal grills are available upon request. On property, guests enjoy hiking, horseback riding and fly fishing on the Little River. Half day and full day guided fly fishing trips are available in the neighboring national park offering some of the country's best fly fishing. Bike rentals are also available on site and Townsend's six mile paved biking trail runs through the property. The staff is available around the clock to assist with area information, appointments for in room massages, dining reservations and activities. Meeting facilities are available for up to 125 attendees including full catering and conference services. Failure to cancel 15 days prior to 4 PM EST day of arrival date will result in forfeiture of deposit. Deposit must be received at time of booking and must include first night stay plus tax. Credit card is charged at time of booking.

      Great cabins!

      First time traveling with our dog and the cabins were the perfect place. Spacious, full kitchen and a patio. The grounds are great and have space for our morning walks so Oreo can relief herself and have fun. Service was great! We totally recommend this place.

      Fantastic Cabin in the Smokeys

      This was a great find and we all enjoyed our time. Cafe for breakfast, bistro for dinner and relaxing cabin for the night. Nikita had a fun time with the staff getting lots of pets. Will return and we highly recommend.

      Spectacular!

      Excellent stay, dinner at the bistro was excellent! Our dogs loved everything about it! Only downside bistro not open Monday & Tuesdays.

      Leconte Cabin

      First vacation with the pups! Both of our dogs loved the cabin, hiking Gatlinburg Trail in Smokies (lots of other dogs) and dining at Appalachian Bistro patio.
