The room we got was filthy, smelled of urine, sheets stained, tub dirty. One night we had no hot water and no explanation as to why. Yes my dog got to stay with us, but I would not recommend the room or the location of this hotel. I also didn't get my pet deposit back.
I loved that La Quinta in Austin allowed us to bring our dogs into the breakfast area while we ate! (Something I had not experienced st other hotels) Also, one of my dogs who can sometimes get nervous and do inappropriate things peed on the bed (bedspread to top sheet). I brought the bedding to the front desk and got replacement bedding with no judgment or negative comments. I was embarrassed, but they were so nice. They also had lots of grassy areas to walk the dogs. While the hotel isn’t the most luxurious hotel for humans, I can always count on their pet-friendliness!
