Staff was friendly and room was spacious and bright. Location is noisy because of highway and parking lot had homeless people. From our window we could see car that was broken into next door. Property did have a security guard on duty.

The owners are trying to remodel and make the place nice. However, if you read other reviews, this is in a seedy part of Dallas and often has prostitution in the hotel/parking lot. Our stay was fine, and we did not see anything happening out of the ordinary. We did hear gunshots nearby. So, I don’t think I’d personally stay here again. I feel bad for the owners, as they are trying to make it nice, but the location just is not good, even with police patrolling the area.

I’d recommend other places first. It looks nice if you look past the hookers soliciting on the property. The whole area is sketchy. Our first sight was a guy picking one up and it left me with an awful feeling. I wanted a refund and go find another pet friendly hotel but my travel partner did not want to. Not safe for me to go out and walk my dogs.

The place had been almost completely renovated, which made the rooms so nice. It was like staying in some real swanky place when we walked into the room. However, it did have a few little quirks that cost the hotel a 5 bones rating. None of the ice machines worked, the cards wouldn't open the exterior doors so you HAD to go in the lobby and walk down half the length of the building to get to the elevators and the drain in my room, as beautiful as the room was, emptied into a bucket or something. There was also infinitesimal shampoo bottles but no soap to wash our hands, which is what we really needed more than shampoo, anyway. Overall it met our needs and I would definitely stay there again, or recommend it to others but it wasn't quite perfect.

The staff was friendly and the room clean. The beds were comfortable, too. There was a little grass around the back by planters and side by fence for dogs to use. Only problem I found was litter (used diaper and condoms) by the fence that I had to keep my pups away from.

Loved that the hotel was pet friendly and even had some grassy areas. But, located on the ground floor we could hear everything outside in the hallway as other guests were checking in and staff was pushing carts. Wish the doors would have been thicker. Our dog woke up several times before finally going to sleep.
