Choice hotel booked a room here when another hotel was booked. We arrived there around 7 on the verge of a big storm and the first thing we see are the people hanging around the hotel. Then confirmed there was really nowhere that looked safe to walk my dog. Then we went to check in and got a room on the second floor. There was no room available on the first floor which was bad since my mom can’t really go up stairs, bad knees. So my dad went to check the room, and let me say first that nothing bothers my dad.
He came down from the room saying the room was a mess with dirty sheets and garbage on the floor. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned with no towels or toilet paper. That was as far as we got. He came back to the car saying he wouldn’t even let the dog stay there let alone me and mom. Went to the front desk to complain and they said they magically had a room on the first floor for free. We went to check it out and while the room was cleaner it didn’t improve much. There was still no towels and the room smelled like smoke. We said no thanks to the home and ran to the Baymont a few miles away. In conclusion, don’t subject yourself or your pets to this hotel/garbage dump.
- IndeSep 23, 2022Roach motel!
No way to sugar coat this. Homeless people living in hotel, stained carpet, door lock doesn’t work, missing smoke detector, no pillows or towels, dead cockroaches on floor, toilet doesn’t flush well. Front desk lady puts up a sign “be right back, helping guest” so she can sit outside and smoke cigarettes and not help guests. Room stinks like Pine-Sol and cigarettes, and pool closed. No mini fridge or microwave as promised. Tub clogged and doesn’t drain. Woke up to dead bug in my bed. DONT STAY HERE! I regret booking this online. Eeewwww! Not even acceptable for the dog.

This is the 3rd of 3 bad experiences in a row with La Quinta. We rolled in late in the evening, checked in, unhooked and parked a car carrier trailer, with a little apprehension since the neighborhood was a bit sketchy. We opened the door to the hotel room and the bed was totally stripped with NO sheets, NO comforter, NO pillow cases, NO towels... nothing. Well there was the diarrhea pet stain on the carpet!
Went to the front to ask for another room, only because it was late and we didn't want to hook-up the trailer again. When I went to the front and there was another guest whose room was not made either! While we stood there, yet another guest came in quite beside herself and showed a photo of a mouse trap in the middle of her room... but wait, there's more... there was a CAT curled up in the bed!!!
NOPE... give us our money back, we're just going to drive the rest of the night home since there are no other available rooms that late at night.

We have stayed at multiple La Quinta Inns while traveling because they are dog friendly and nice. This Inn has to be at the bottom of the chain’s list. On check in the toilet had poop in the bowl. The whole complex is grimy and is well past the need for refurbishing. There were many beer and alcohol cans in parking area. The popcorn ceiling is falling off in room. After a long day on the road so disappointing to experience this. Look elsewhere for a room.

The only positive thing was the friendly front desk staff at check-in, although she had two friends (not employees) hanging out with her. The room was dirty and smelled. We had to ask for toilet paper and there were no tissues. The parking lot felt very unsafe. Breakfast was a pop tart, bottle of water, and a sour fruit cup. Would not stay there again.

The room was nice, they were a couple of roaches in the bathroom. Outside there is enough grass for dogs, but it was full of poop.

Dogs are welcome. The property looks like they remodeled, but still a little shabby.
If I wouldn’t have had my big dogs with me, I wouldn’t have felt comfortable there. Door missing the safety latch. - CindyFeb 2, 2021Not so great
Staff at desk seemed very friendly at check in but when my husband went down to inform her that TV didn't work he was told he must be doing something wrong and that was that. So no TV, husband had to fix the toilet seat so we didn't fall in. Room was OK but defiantly in need of a deep clean and upgrading. As my husband said, you get what you pay for. Knew price seemed too good for a LA Quinta. Will not stay again

The room had a musty odor like it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned for a while. There were stains on the carpet.
- RhonellMar 15, 2020Great!!
This was one of the cleanest pet friendly places we've ever stayed. Bed was comfortable, and I slept like a rock after a full day of driving with our 2 fur babies. Nice grassy area to walk the babies, and a convenience store was just steps away next door, The only thing I didn't like was the carpet on the floor. I like the wood look floors for pet friendly hotel rooms. I can only imagine what might be in the carpet. But the room was so clean that I was okay with it. I definitely would stay here again!!
- JillJan 31, 2020Great value
Room was clean. It’s just off the interstate but traffic noise while we could hear it didn’t bother us. Would stay there again.
